However, what they don’t realize is that Walt Disney World also contains some of the most unique restaurants in the world, located right inside the parks. So for those of you headed to sunny Florida this summer, make sure you book a reservation at one of these impressive restaurants.

1. Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater

The Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater is located inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Once you arrive, you’ll be seated in a snazzy convertible parked at a drive-in movie theater. Then, a carhop will take your order and while you wait, you’ll enjoy the best science fiction films of the 50s. With a twinkly night sky and trees all around, you will experience a true blast from the past. The convertible seating makes it perfect for date night, or larger cars are available for the the whole family. Don’t forget to order a milkshake for dessert!

2. Be Our Guest Restaurant

The Be Our Guest Restaurant is “Beauty and the Beast” themed, allowing guests to dine in the Beast’s enchanted castle. Gourmet foods are served in a majestic ballroom, immersing guests in the elegant theme. Located in Disney’s Magic Kingdom park, this is a meal you’re sure not to regret.

3. Coral Reef Restaurant

The Coral Reef Restaurant offers a unique dining experience surrounded by more than 4,000 species of fish, including sharks, stingrays and turtles. Also located in Epcot, the San Angel Inn Restaurante offers astounding views of the Aztec Temple in the Mexico World Showcase. At the San Angel Inn, you’ll be served authentic Mexican food at twilight, while watching boats float by along the river below.

5. 50s Prime Time Cafe

At the 50’s Prime Time Cafe, you and your family will feel as though you’re eating over at Grandma’s house with old-fashioned, all-American meals. Waiters pretend to be family members and yell at you for not finishing your vegetables. They also force you to make the table, use your manners and no elbows on the table! If you break any of these rules, you might just be put in time out. So while you’re in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, make sure to stop on in the 50s Prime Time Cafe, you’re sure to get a kick out of it.

Each of these restaurants will offer a unique dining experience for families of all ages. Most of them will require a reservation if you want to eat within a timely manner, so be sure to book before you leave home and enjoy these delicious restaurants!
