5 Reasons You Should Not Go To Stephen F Austin State University

1. Don't go to SFA if you don't want to find your best friends.

SFA has amazing people, and it's kind of hard to avoid making friends there. If you hate making friends, people being nice to you, and being around people who accept you for you -- DO NOT COME TO SFA. This is an official warning to not attend Stephen F Austin State University if you do not want to spend years around amazing people that want you to grow and thrive.

2. Don't go to SFA if you don't like to have a good time.

Yeah, SFA is a pretty social school, but you should definitely not consider coming here if you aren't ready to have a genuinely fun life for the next few years. Everything at SFA tends to be amazing. If you hate being happy, SFA isn't for you.

3. Don't go to SFA if you don't want to be constantly inspired.

SFA is full of wonderful people and historical places that constantly inspire everyone on campus and off. Every day at SFA is another time for all of the students to find their place in the world, with a thousand people who want everyone around them to succeed. If you aren't willing to be around all of that encouragement, then SFA is not the school for you.

4. Don't Come to SFA if you don't want to fall in love with your school.

If you want to go to a school that you hate, a school with terrible teachers and academics, people that suck, and literally nothing to offer- look for other schools. If the thought of loving your school, and have so much pride to be a lumberjack sounds like a bad time, SFA will be a bad time for you.

5. Absolutely DO NOT come to SFA if you don't want to have the best years of your life.

Between tailgates, classes where you actually learn, affordable tuition, thousands of potential friends, amazing opportunities for students, and beautiful scenery, it's hard for SFA to be anything but amazing. If you enjoy being miserable, maybe check out Sam Houston.

However, if you do want to go to one of the most incredible schools in the country, go to SFA. You will be surpassed at how much 406 acres can really change your life.
