It's already half-way through Summer, and some of the year's top anticipated movies are finally rolling in! Here's the Top Five Movies you should definitely watch in theaters before the summer season ends!
1. Star Trek - Beyond
Even though it was released just recently, this film is one of the top rated movies of 2016 and is already bringing in the dough at the box-office. Being the third addition to the new Star Trek saga, just like the other two, it is sure to give you the thrills! Captain Kirk and the crew find themselves stranded on a distant planet battling a foreign race that seems impossible to beat.
2. Nerve (July 27th)
Nerve is one of those movies that just pop out of nowhere and is guaranteed to put you on the edge of your seat. With Emma Roberts and Dave Franco, a teenage girl finds herself immersed in an online game that tests the limit. Just how far the limits are pushed, she must find out herself as a group of "watchers" draw the lines.
3. Pete's Dragon (August 12th)
This live action film based off the 1977 musical production by Walt Disney Pictures, is bound to be a family favorite for a long time to come! The old tale of a dragon that dwells in the Pacific Northwest's forests becomes reality when an orphan boy named Pete claims he lives with it.
4. War Dogs (August 19th)

A film that's definitely guaranteed to make you explode with laughter and buckle down at some points, this is a must-see with a group of your closest friends. 5. Ghostbusters
Saving the best for last, and putting aside the fact that it's already released, Ghostbusters is not only guaranteed to bust ghosts, but to bust your gut too! Staring Melissa McCarthy and an all-female cast including well known actresses from SNL, this comedy takes the original movie from the 1980's to a whole new level! With cameos and main roles played by the original actors, (including Dan Ayrkoyd and Bill Murray), the new female team take on Manhattan's worst ghost infestations and inherit the famous line, "Who you gonna call?"
