5. Frosty the Snowman
This classic kid's movie first opened my eyes to the magic of Christmas, literally the "magic" of Christmas as a snowman suddenly came to life 'cause of a crackpot magician's hat. But 10 year old me loved it. Who wouldn't want to hang out with a snow man for a day?
4. Santa Claus is Comin' to Town
Learning to put one foot in front of the other has gotten me through so much as an adult, but as a child I was just mystified with the origin of Santa Claus.
3. The Santa Clause
As a kid, so much of the humor of this movie was lost on me, but hey, it's great now, and once again I was just fascinated with Santa Claus' origin story, but this one was the modern live-action version.
2. The Polar Express
I was easily a teenager by the time this movie came out, but it was one of those films that really captures some of that magic of Christmas that I held as a child.
1. Home Alone
Okay, so let's get real. Home Alone is the best Christmas movie, hands down. Nowhere else can you see a real family in the struggle, traps that in no way are impractical. Home robbery isn't funny though... no one should laugh about that.
