10 Things To Love About Fall

I am not the biggest fan of fall just because I am very much a summer person. I prefer the warmer weather over the cold. But fall does have many things that I do love. We all have our little things we love about a certain time of the year whether it's a holiday or the weather. Or even if it is just simply certain types of food or drinks that come out during that time period. I personally have a few favorite things about this time!

1. Fall Leaves

I love the fall leaves! The colors of the leaves are just so pretty. I think they just bring a natural beauty to nature that we do not get year round.

2. UGGS!

I LOVE uggs! I personally do not really like sneakers so uggs are my preferred choice of shoes! And I love that I have so many different types and colors to choose from!

3. The Clothes

I am the type of person that really loves shorts and tank tops. But I have to admit that big chunky sweaters and leggings are so extremely comfortable. Like I wish you guys could understand the level of comfortableness that those clothes give. Its a way to dress nice and be comfortable, all at the same time.

4. Hot Chocolate

I could die a happy woman if I could just drink hot chocolate 24/7. I even love white hot chocolate even more then the original. One can never go wrong with a warm chocolate drink with marshmallows and whipped cream.

5. Pumpkin...Everything!

Yes...I have to say I love pumpkin spice coffee. I know it is the classic "white girl" stereotype but it is so good! But you also can not go wrong with some pumpkin muffins or pumpkin pie. Pumpkin is just a top favorite of mine, and during the fall it fits in quite perfectly.

6. Pumpkin and Apple Picking

I truly love going pumpkin picking and going on the hayride to the pumpkin patches. I also love apple picking and stuffing extra apples in the pockets of my sweatshirt just so I could get more apples. It is the best part!

7. Baking

After going apple and pumpkin picking, baking is mandatory! Apple Crisp is so good along with pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread and pumpkin cookies. You have not lived until you make pumpkin cookies and put pumpkin ice cream in between two cookies. Pumpkin ice cream sandwich is even better than a normal ice cream sandwich!

8. Candy

Candy apples are to die for. Especially gourmet candy apples. They just make the perfect combination of chocolate, candy and apple even better than just the classic candy apple. But candy does not just stop at that. You can not forget all the good candy you get on Halloween. Speaking of Halloween...

9. Halloween

You never had a real childhood if you do not love Halloween. How could someone not love candy and dressing up! It was always fun to do as child and honestly, you are never too old to go Trick- or- Treating. It is a timeless fun activity to do every October.

10. Black Friday Shopping

SHOPPING! I will not even try to hide that love shopping, because I do. And Black Friday is like prime time for shopping. Whether it is for yourself or for others as gifts. The sales are never ending and amazing. I could never miss this because it is just my favorite time to shop and it is truly one o my favorite things about Fall.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
