Having been born and raised a Cubs fan, it's needless to say my whole family and I were pretty dang excited when the Cubs made it to the World Series. We're fifty percent ecstatic that they actually won and fifty percent still in shock. Here are some of my favorite Cubs' moments from the World Series.
1. The Addi Russell Grand Slam
In Game six, twenty two year old Addison Russell became the first short stop to ever hit a grand slam in the World Series. Plus, his history making hit helped force a Game seven. Atta Boy, Addi.
2. Basically every Bryzzo moment
Specifically when the two made the final out in Game Seven. The joy on Bryant's face when he throws the ball to Rizzo, and Rizzo's reaction when he catches it are just priceless.
3. Grandpa Rossy
David Ross's last year playing ball has certainly been a great one. One of the best parts was when he hit a home run during Game seven. Way to go out with a bang!
Here's to another win next year!
