I, unlike the rest of the world, did not participate in Black Friday shopping this year. With a combination of trying to save money and not hearing of any amazing deals, I chose to avoid the crazy.

But that doesn't mean I don't enjoy seeing the deals everyone else scored!

When I opened up my YouTube subscription box later Friday afternoon, it was filled with everyone's Black Friday Haul videos. And I shamelessly watched all of them. Here are my top five, in no particular order, favorite Black Friday Haul videos of 2016 from some of my favorite YouTubers, all of whom I have recently discovered.

1. LaurDIY

LaurDIY is the queen of DIYs hence the name, but she is also seems like one of the sweetest people on the planet. Her haul includes purchases from Victoria's Secret, Dick's Sporting Goods, and PacSun.

2. MamaMiaMakeup

Mia started out as a beauty YouTuber, but has grown into a full lifestyle and also vlogging channel. She collabed with my number three pick, AlishaMarie, for the second year in a row for her haul. She scored deals at Victoria's Secret, Forever 21, and PacSun. She also vlogged her shopping experience!

3. AlishaMarie

Alisha has become one of my favorite vloggers, and her haul did not disappoint. In addition to the same shops as Mia, she also scored some deals at Bath and Body Works, and vlogged the whole ordeal as well!

4. Sierra Schultzzie

Fun fact: I actually discovered Sierra's channel because she followed me on Twitter one day! She went to a few different stores for her Black Friday adventure, including Express and Macy's.

5. Wassabi Productions

Alex Wassabi, the boyfriend of LaurDIY, did his own haul, and it was absolutely hilarious. If you're looking to watch a haul that will make you laugh instead of want to spend money, his video is for you.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
