Here are some of the most beautiful college campuses around the US today. If you are unsure of where you want to go to school, take a look at these places and you will be in awe!

1. UC Berkeley - Berkeley, California

University of California Berkeley is home to the world's third tallest clock tower at an impressive 307 feet tall. The campus alone is 1,232 acres wide and houses Hearst Memorial Mining Building, a traditional European-style structure, along with a reflecting pool in front that makes for an even better view.

2. Berry College - Mt. Berry, Georgia

In the Georgia mountains, this college is 27,000 acres of beautiful landscape. Here students can go on various bicycle and foot trails, and even participate in activities such as archery deer hunts in the fall. Of the buildings on campus, Ford Auditorium, an English gothic building with a clock tower and reflecting pool, is the most eye-catching.

3. University of Colorado Boulder

With the Rocky Mountains in the backdrop of the college, Boulder, Colorado classic red brick buildings are a sight to see in its self. Boulder’s true glory has got to be the amazing natural beauty that surrounds the campus, It also has a planetarium that is one of its biggest attractions.

4. University of Hawaii at Mānoa - Honolulu, Hawaii

Lyon Arboretum is one of Hawaii's nature attractions. Students have access to walk around to see these beautiful sights.

Though attendance there could easily descend into a four-year vacation, the university still has an impressive reputation as a top research institution, where graduate students can study coral reef at a marine biology lab, built on a coral reef!

5. Elon University - Elon, North Carolina

Ranked the nation’s most beautiful campus by The New York Times and The Princeton Review for its classic collegiate architecture, Elon University campus is bursting with colonnades in front of red brick buildings, and the amazing lawns are classified as botanical gardens.

6. Lewis & Clark College - Portland, Oregon

Thanks to over 600 acres of wooded trails, an outdoor swimming pool, and a prime hilltop location that looks out onto Mount Hood, this Oregon spot lands as one of the best views for sightseeing.

7. The University of Mississippi - Oxford, Mississippi

With its Greek Revival architecture, Ole Miss landed on the National Register of Historic Places and influenced nearly every other building that followed. It is also home to the oldest college bell in America. From Ventress to the Cochran Center, the campus is stunning from all points of view. The Grove is one of the biggest attractions for the social lives of students being a place for some high-quality times and tailgating on Saturdays in the fall.

8. University of Oklahoma - Oklahoma


Red brick buildings along with the quad adorned with flowers in the school’s colors highlight OU's campus. The centerpiece, a National Historic Landmark, is Bizzell Memorial Library. It is a great place for a scenic and fun four years.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.

For many undergraduates across the nation, the home stretch has begun. Only one more semester remains in our undergraduate career. Oh, the places we will go! For the majority of college seniors, this is simultaneously the best and worst year out of the past four and here’s why.

1. The classes you are taking are actually difficult.

A schedule full of easy pottery throwing and film courses is merely a myth on the average campus. With all of those prerequisites for the upper-level courses and the never-ending battle you fight each year during registration for limited class seats, senior year brings with it the ability to register for the final courses you need to fulfill your major. Yet, these are not the easy entry level courses. These are the comprehensive, end of major, capstone courses designed to apply the knowledge from all your previous courses, usually in the form of an extensive research paper or engaged learning project. The upside is you actually probably really enjoy these classes but alas there is no room for slackers here.
