It's time to start the second semester and if you struggled last fall it is time to recuperate and redeem yourself. In order to help you get organized and ready to conquer this semester, I devised a list of the top Apps to help you out.
1. Quizlet. The most incredible study tool around. You can create flashcards, practice them in a game and quiz yourself on the topics. You can even find some study sets that have already been created at your university to make life a little easier.
2. Spotify. If you're anything like me, music is one of your best friends and an essential studying tool. Spotify offers a student discount so you can get all the music you want with no ads, and offline listening for $4.99 a month. It might seem like a lot for some but for music addicts, it's a small price to pay for unlimited music.
3. ALL the Google Apps. Whether its Google Drive, Docs, Slides or Gmail, these apps are so helpful to have. You can have them to double check on class info or even finish up a paper on the go.
4. Blackboard. Even though it seems like only one of your classes actually utilizes blackboard, it is a nice app to have from time to time. You can quickly check the announcements for any last minute class information and even check your grades as soon as they are posted.
5. Pinterest. This app some in handy when you have a break in classes or time to kill. You can only refresh other social media so many times but with Pinterest, it is never ending. Find some new ways to organize things, some easy DIY's or just spend your time on it daydreaming.
6. Khan Academy. Another app to help you study, Khan Academy has about anything you need for any course you take. They have videos and practice questions to help you master any subject.
7. Amazon. Another app that offers a student discount that gives free two day shipping. This is a great app to have to check on orders and quickly order anything you need.
8. Your bank/ Mint. Having the app for your bank (if it is available) is helpful just to keep up on how much you have and how much you've saved. Along with this, Mint is a very useful tool that you can sink up with your bank accounts and use it to budget your money. It tracks what you spend your money on and allows you to set a budget on those top things you spend your money on.
