A Complete Guide to 90's Fashion

The 90's are back y'all and in a BIG way! Everywhere you look on campus, there is a "new" trend popping up among college girls. In reality, these trends were made famous by Mary Kate and Ashley and Britney Spears in the 90's.

I have to say that I am BEYOND excited for their return! With so many trends it's a little hard to keep up though. So without further ado, here are the top trends I've spotted on Alabama's campus.

1. Flare Jeans

I've been a skinny jean fan for as long as I can remember. I gave these a try this summer, and now they are the only jeans I'll put on!

2. Scrunchies

I used to wear these in my hair with two pigtails as a child. Now that I'm in college, I do the exact same thing.

3. Off the Shoulder Tops

Pair this with flare jeans and a choker, and you've got the PERFECT Friday night party outfit!

4. High Waisted Shorts

It's not just Kelly Kapowski from Saved by the Bell that rocks these. Everywhere you go at least one girl will have some form of these on!

5. Flannel

One of these is perfect to thrown on for those awkward semi cold fall days. I took my mother's L.L. Bean flannel from her college days, and it is hands down my favorite piece of clothing.

6. The Denim Skirt

So easy to throw on yet still look put together! Wear it to dinner with your parents or even on a gameday.

7. Chokers

This is my absolute favorite trend there is! I pair it with everything from a tee and shorts to fancy dresses. If you don't have one, go and get it ASAP!

Trends always come back in style. My advice is to store your clothes because they might just come in handy again 15 years from now!

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
