We all have those little habits that sometimes annoy our friends or the people around us. Some of us tap our foot, tap our pencils on our desk or doodle in our class when really we should be taking notes. We also want to do something to stop those little fidgety moments but are often too nervous to be a distraction to others in the classroom. Well, have no fear, for I have come up with some easy things to do that won't distract your fellow classmates.

1. Fidget Cube.

This is a genius invention that someone invented last year. I actually found one when I was in class and gave it to my boyfriend, and he told me that it helps him focus better in class because he has the cube to fidget with in his pocket.

2. Crazy Aaron's Thinking Putty.

THIS STUFF IS AMAZING! One of my kids at work has this for when we talk to him and his mom put in some essential oils, but the stuff is so hypnotizing.

3. Stress Balls.

There are so many different kinds of stress balls out there! There are ones that are shaped like fruit, emoji faces, and so many other things! You can either buy them or make them yourself.

4. Stress Rock.

I have one of these sitting in my basket in my room and it comes in handy whenever I am feeling a little overwhelmed with a situation or just need something to do with my hands other than biting my nails.

5. Knitting.

Why not knit a square for a quilt? You could knit so many in one quarter, and it's productive, too!

6. Crocheting.

Why not make a scarf or hat? You could set a goal for something like 12 hats each quarter to make for homeless individuals at Christmas time.

7. Fidget Spinner.

There is something that is so relaxing about using your thumb to spin something round and round.

8. A Tiny Rubix Cube.

This is good to have in your pocket when you need something to distract your tapping and helps you focus in class.

9. Playdough.

I mean, it is the same thing as putty but it makes you nostalgic about your life when you were a kid when playdough was all the rage. What makes playdough cooler is that you can make it yourself and add some essential oils to them for health reasons.

We all fidget, and there are so many things out there that can help us avoid becoming a distraction to other students. You know, the students who get annoyed when someone is tapping their foot so much it makes the entire row shake. So give some of these things a try!

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
