Welcome back to the Summer of Disney folks. This week we are talking about one of the best parts of Disney which is the character meet and greets. Who doesn’t love taking photos with the gang and posting them online? Well I’m going to rank the top 8 everyone should meet.

8. Stitch

This guy is fun to meet. Stitch is very busy as he visits guests at Ohana’s in the Polynesian resort for breakfast and then heads over to Tomorrowland. Stitch, when you meet him, likes to misbehave as he smells pens if you're getting his autograph or messing with your hair. Fun for everyone who is a fan of Lillo and Stitch.

7. Goofy

A member of the Fab Five Goofy is a classic any Disney fan must see. Meeting him at the Story Book Circus at the Magic Kingdom he is the Great Goofy who is a motorcyclist. You can’t hate the dog at all as he is funny and kind.

Reunited during my first trip back since my college program.

6. Princess Aurora

What’s a list without some Disney Princesses? Aurora is one of my favorites to meet and my top 3 princesses. Meeting is great as she can talk about how Prince Phillip keeps the dragons away or how much she loves her forest friends. I always met her wearing a superhero shirt so I always get a thank you for keeping the kingdom extra safe. Always a lovely time with her.

I have seen you once upon a dream.

5. Kylo Ren

The Commander of the First Order is an intimidating one to meet. He sees you enter and just stares at you. Of course, he speaks first he always does. If he does speak to you he will ask where the droid is, or if you will join the first order and my favorite him trying to see thru your mind. Just avoid calling him Ben or asking about his parents or better yet asking if it’s true that he has an 8 pack and is shredded. For all you Star Wars fans meet him.

There has been an Awakening.

4. Minnie Mouse

Another classic member of the Fab Five is Mickey’s leading lady Minnie. Meeting is always a pleasure. She loves to sign autographs, hug and take pictures with her adoring fans. Minnie is a must see for everyone.

3. Donald Duck

My favorite character Donald. Good times are always there when you see Donald. Always say how much you think he’s the best and you’ll always get a Donald Duck number one autograph and a photo of you and Donald pointing that he is the best. After who doesn’t love Donald?

2. Anna and Elsa

These two ladies have taken Disney by storm and their meet and greet are amazing. Ranging from Anna talking about her love for Chocolate, talking about Kristof and his ice picking to her loving the fact that she and Elsa and hang out together again. Elsa, of course, is always talking about how she has controlled her powers now and we don’t have to worry about a blizzard coming to Florida this summer. (Oh Joy) There’s also taking Selfies with them, which are known as Snowfies to the sisters. These two are great to meet and I recommend you meet the sister at Epcot and have a great time.

1. Mickey Mouse

Who’s the leader of the club that’s made for you and me? M I C K E Y M O U S E! Can’t do a list without the big cheese himself Mickey! Despite having a lot to do Mickey is always there for his fans. Visiting Mickey never gets old whether it’s your first trip or your 100th trip; Mickey always adds a little magic to your heart.

I hope we never lose sight that it was all started by a mouse.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
