Whether you realize it or not your dad is always looking out for you and is your number one fan since the day you were born. I owe him the world. Thanks for being the best dad!

1) For doing my laundry

You never really asked me if I wanted it done or for me to do it myself, but somehow my clothes are nicely folded every couple of days. Although you accidentally give Mom my clothes and Mom's clothes to me, the effort was pretty nice.

2) For cooking dinner

I don't know how you do it. Even though you married a lady that really can't cook (sorry, Mom) I appreciate coming home from practice every day with dinner warm on the table (even if it is 9 P.M. and still sit down to eat with me.

3) “Have I ever told you how great you are”

Your favorite punch line. You may never say it to me or to mom. But we all know that you need to realize how great you are for putting up with all of us everyday, and how great we are for dealing with you saying that to everyone who has ever walked through our front door.

4) For calling me

You call me when you know I’m home alone asking me if i want to go on an adventure with you to Home Depot. Or if I want any food. You always think of me regardless where you are or what you are doing.

5) You put your family first

When you are with all of us, you think of what we want over what you want. When making decisions you always put us before you (except for when you are trying to buy a truck). You have provided for all three of your children to go through high school and almost all of college and we all owe you the world for that.

6) Always offering hugs

Even though I never ever want one, you always seem to force me into one. I may always push away, but you have to know I will always appreciate your effort. I mean what are you going to do with your favorite child in college next year?

7) For being Mr. Save the Day

For answering my screams while there was a stink bug in my room. Or unclogging my sink when it won’t drain. You are always there to save the day. Everyone loves seeing you; whether it is to fix the leak that ruined a friend's basement or for a nice dinner, you save the day and bring always bring a smile with you.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Everybody gets sick once in a while, but getting sick while in college is the absolute worst. You're away from home and your mom who can take care of you and all you really want to do is just be in your own bed. You feel like you will have never-ending classwork to catch up on if you miss class, so you end up going sick and then it just takes longer to get better. Being sick in college is really tough and definitely not a fun experience. Here are the 15 stages that everyone ends up going through when they are sick at college.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
