I never thought in a million years I would miss New jersey the way that I did when I left for school. No place is quite the same as Jersey. When I went away I found myself talking about Jersey twenty times a day and all my friends make fun of me. I don't think anyone at school understands just all the things I miss about being home and what I cannot wait to have back over summer.

1. Bagels.

No bagels are not the same everywhere the goodness of a new jersey bagel is something that is made and blessed by the heavens.

2. Taylor Ham.

I have tried to explain this so many times to my friends at school, but if you're not from Jersey, you do not understand the true pleasure this food causes.

3. Driving.

I didn't realize no one knows how to use their turn signals. Also, who doesn't love driving with the surroundings of Jerseys beautiful landscapes.

4. Diners.

Every time you turn the corner.

5. The Shore.

Self-explanatory, but we have some of the most fun board walks you have ever been to.

6. The Malls.

Apparently hanging out at the mall isn't a regular past time for other people?

7. The PNC Bank Arts Center.

$28 lawn seats for some of the greatest bands, sign me up!

There are many other great things about New Jersey, but these are things I can't go a day with out thinking of. Whether you have been to Jersey or not you really need to experience the awesome things I had the privilege of growing up around.

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:
