Top 6 Favorite Steve And Danny Bromance Moments

Hawaii Five-0 is an action/crime, drama television show that premiered in September of 2010 on CBS. It’s a reboot of the original series, Hawaii Five-O, that ran (also on CBS) from 1968 – 1980. The reboot is about a man named Steve McGarrett (played by Alex O’Loughlin) who returns to his childhood home in Hawaii to find his father’s killer. While there, he creates and leads his own task force – Five-0 – by recruiting Chin Ho Kelly (played by Daniel Dae Kim), Danny Williams (played by Scott Caan) and Kono Kalakaua (played by Grace Park). The show, which is greatly admired for how much it sheds importance about ohana, wouldn’t have the spark it does without Steve and Danny’s bromance. McDanno, a name that fans have given to the inseparable partners, possess an undeniable chemistry that makes the series more than enjoyable to watch. Below I have one (of MANY) of my favorite bromance moments from each season (besides from season 7 that’s still ongoing). I hope you all enjoy!

**A few SPOILERS below**

1. Beginning of the Bromance

Season 1 episode 1 – Pilot

In the first episode, we see Steve return to Hawaii, specifically Honolulu, for his father’s funeral. While there, he’s trying to find any lead he can to gut his father’s killer. Also in the first episode, we start to meet members of the Five-0 task force. Steve and Danny had amazing chemistry from the start! Can’t you tell?

2. Pizza and Chill

Season 2 episode 18 – Lekio (Radio)

After solving a “mysterious death” of a famous radio DJ, Steve, Danny and Tony (played by James Caan who’s Scott Caan’s father) unwind by kicking off their shoes, sitting back and eating some authentic New York pizza along with a side of beer. What yells “bromance” more than this moment right here?

3. Danny gets joint custody

Season 3 episode 14 – Hana I Wa’la (Scandal)

Danny, who has a daughter named Grace (played by Teilor Grubbs), awaited a custody decision which would determine whether or not his daughter would stay in Hawaii or leave the island with her mother and stepfather. His ex-wife and her husband had planned to leave Hawaii – (meanwhile the only reason why Danny moved to Hawaii was to be close to Grace) – but since Danny was granted joint custody, they had to stay. Steve, who’s Danny’s brother from another mother at this point in their relationship, is so happy for him. He truly cares and even developed a relationship with Grace – who refers to him as Uncle Steve. If your friend isn’t genuinely happy for you..are they really your friend?

4. Trapped in the building

Season 4 episode 19 – Ku I Ka Pili Koko (Blood Brothers)

After receiving a “bad tip,” Steve and Danny both get trapped in an exploded building. With the two being in a life or death situation, emotions (they usually argue) seep through. This is probably one of my favorite bromance moments ever.

5. It’s the little things that matter

Season 5 episode 17 – Kuka’awale (Stakeout)

While on a stakeout, the two bond tremendously (I mean, how could you not while on a stakeout with someone?) During one of their conversations, Steve tells Danny how he used to play the guitar but stopped after an incident that happened. At the end of the episode, Danny surprises Steve with a beautiful guitar *cries*. This is, again, one of my favorite bromance moments.

6. Liver Transplant

Season 6 Episode 25 – O Ke Ali’I Wale No Ka’u Makemake (My Desire Is Only For The Chief)

While Steve and Danny posed as drug pilots, things took a bad turn and Steve ended up getting shot and wounded pretty severely. When taken to the hospital, the doctor announced that Steve needed a liver transplant. Guess who gave him their liver? This instance right here sums up the bromance between Steve and Danny completely.

Again, season’s 1 to 6 are currently available on Netflix. Season 7 is still ongoing and is aired on Friday’s at 9/8c. If you do decide to watch the show, please let me know! I’d absolutely love to talk about it with you.

Have a magical week everyone xo.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

19 Lessons I'll Never Forget from Growing Up In a Small Town

There have been many lessons learned.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
