I believe each weekend invites the opportunity to be lazy. I believe anyone in work or in school deserves time to unwind after hustling and bustling from Monday to Friday. Maybe it's sweatpants and Netflix in bed with a few snack crumbs scattered about. Or maybe it's all day with a book in the park.
Either way, you deserve it. Here's 5 ways to spend a lazy day.
1. Don't leave your bed.
I've read articles where people have successfully stayed in bed the entire day, leaving only to use the restroom. This is something society typically makes you feel guilty for but shouldn't. What's life without a few days living as a hermit?
2. Allow snacks to be meal substitutes.
Don't get crazy, but a lazy day makes it totally okay (at least in my opinion) to skip cooking and settle for Pop-Tarts or microwave mac and cheese.
3. Screw pants.
If you spend a lazy day in pants, who even are you?
4. Netflix
Netflix and chill with bae or Netflix and chill by yourself. Both involve Netflix and that's all that matters.
5. Day time television
It's a guilty pleasure but not much beats Jerry Springer on a day off.
