Have you ever heard of Travis Garland? I mean, the guy is a hella talented individual! He was once in NLT, but this guy is the most underrated artist I have seen yet. OK, I may be a little biased, but these covers by are just to die for!

5. "Climax" by Usher

I'm biased but I love Usher, so this has to be on the list! One thing I appreciate about Usher is that with each song he sings, you can feel his emotion, and I feel T.G does the exact same thing in this cover. Besides, Travis Garland's voice is just heavenly, and you hear the soul in his vocals. His added verse just adds an extra element to the song and I love it!

4. "Diamonds/Adorn Mashup"

This was definitely a summer anthem, but do you hear the rifts?! Do you hear the clarity in his voice? Tell me you don't smile or feel relaxed after hearing this? Love isn't the word. "Love never looked so good on him"

3. "Pillow Talk" by Zayn Malik

I don't like the way Zayn sings "Pillow Talk." I never knew what Zayn was singing in this song, and for the first time I understood the words. Secondly, in my opinion, it takes a lot for another artist to sing a mainstream artists song better than them (Zayn is still talented though), but honestly Travis Garland is the best of all time (Kanye voice). Travis Garland took this song, made it his own and just massacred it!

2. "This is What You Came For & With You Mashup"

This is another newer cover from him, but this mashup has been on repeat since I've first heard it. Can someone say eargasm? I don't know what it is about this song, but he ... is ... good. Deep sigh.

1. "Dangerous Woman"

Our number one song is "Dangerous Woman!" Picking a number one song from T.G had to be the hardest thing for me because he's just awesome, but if I had to it would be this. It takes skill to turn a song that was directed at a male and make it sound just as great when making the song about yourself. (Yes, Travis, it's something about you!). Besides, did you hear 2:39-2:58?! God, Ariana, do a remix with this man!

So that concludes my Top 5 Travis Garland Covers. Yes, I know I'm biased, but he is so talented and deserves much more credit than what he gets. Make sure to look out for my favorite original songs by Travis Garland in next weeks article and in the meantime, enjoy the covers.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
