Top 5 Scariest Movies

Halloween is on its way which means it's time for a scary movie marathon with your best friends! Grab a bowl of pop corn, a nice warm blanket, and the arm of your closest friend, because you're gonna scream. Here are 5 classic horror movies to watch during your scary movie marathon!

1. The Shining

Based on the Stephen King novel (aka the king of horror), The Shining is a must see horror movie about a family that is staying alone in a hotel for the winter in hopes to cure Jack Torrance's writers block. That is until he goes bad and tries to murder his wife and son. "Here's Johnny!"

2. The Omen

A classic horror movie about a little boy named Damien who just so happens to be the son of the devil. Enough said.

3. Halloween

What better movie to watch in preparation for Halloween than Halloween? Watch as Michael Myers escapes his asylum and plans out his next victims. This movie is scary no doubt, yet it's so thrilling you just can't stop watching.

4. Scream

Arguably the most classic horror movie out there, even if it is kind of comedic. Still, the pop-ups will definitely make you jump no matter how many times you've seen this classic film.

5. Psycho

This Alfred Hitchcock classic is beyond creepy. You'll be afraid to shower after this.

No judgement if you have to sleep with the lights on after this.

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
