Being single can be a drag sometimes. We all want someone to cuddle and talk to, but more than often that's not the case. It's not all bad. Having time to find yourself is a good thing, especially in college. The summer right after high school graduation is vital because that's when we set up our expectations and sort of plan our lives accordingly. The summer following your freshman year of college you realize that those expectations were a little out of focus. For most people, this is the first time they've been free (whatever that means) and they just want to have a good time. There's nothing wrong with that at all. It's really a great feeling, so I've compiled my top six reasons why I'm alone and I'm perfectly fine with it.
1. He's still a child
You're an adult now, so you don't have time for those childish games.
2. You'll have more food
They say that a way to a mans heart is food, but food is a girls first love. Who needs someone always taking the last left over tacos? Not me. Food will be bae forever.
3. You're still young
You have forever to be stressed over someone who takes themselves too seriously. This is your time, girl! Live it up.
4. Grades before babes
It doesn't matter how hot he is, you GPA will always look better. And to be honest, it's probably the most long-term of the two.
5. Senioritis
Senioritis is the worst, but it gets even worse when you have a boyfriend constantly wanting your attention. Trust me, he can wait.
