The Top 5 Reasons I Love Sports
The Sports Truth

It all started when I was a kid watching a soccer game with my friends; I just got dumbfounded by the matchmaking, a riot on how the player made a foul and the referee didn't do anything. I even told my friends that it was totally unfair and that I was baffled about it. That's when I realized I loved sports. And here's my top 5 reasons on why I love sports in general:

1. Records

Seeing players make history, plays and tactics by the coach and the team that make matches the ones that everyone will talk about for years. Whether it was Kobe Bryant with the epic 81 points against the Toronto Raptors or Diego Maradona's "goal of the century" against England in the 1986 FIFA World Cup, these are the moments that fans will remember for years and talk about with their friends. Moments by players on which you witness history; no better feeling for a fan.

2. The Players

Seeing the athletes that make us go "wow". Players that take our breath away with their plays and tricks. The legends, superstars and upcoming talents: whether it's Curry hitting three-pointers, Neymar dribbling, or Odell Beckham Jr. making a touchdown, these are the players that keep us tuned in, waiting to see what they can come up with next.

3. Rivalries

Rivalries, it's one of the main reasons to watch sports, it's what makes us the biggest fans. These are the games fans live for, at the end of the match, there's really nothing better than being on the winning team and rubbing it into the rival. People might say that you can be the neutral fan, but no matter how you try, there's always that team that you'll despise for no reason.

FC Barcelona vs Real Madrid, Boston Red Sox vs New York Yankees, Baltimore Ravens vs Pittburgh Steelers, these are some examples of the biggest rivalries in sports.

4. Wins & Losses

Teams will always have good moments and bad moments. Obviously, the best times are when your team is winning, but being a true fan is when you're supporting them through the wins and losses. There truly isn't a better thing in sport than watching your favorite team win the championship and seeing the players hold up the trophy, jumping around and shouting celebrating the win. Like I said, the best thing about sports is how it's mostly fair and that you're there for your team through thick and thin.

5. Entertainers

The players that do theatrics make us smile and are simply just goofy as they can be. Players like Mario Balotelli, Chris Bosh and Rob Gronkowski, we all have a love/hate relationship with these types of players, but at the end of the day they never fail to steal the show and leave us with a smile on our faces.

Creating your schedule for the upcoming semester can be an exciting process. You have the control to decide if you want to have class two-days a week or five-days a week. You get to check things off of your requirement checklist. It's an opportunity for a fresh start with new classes (which you tell yourself you'll never skip.) This process, which always starts out so optimistic, can get frustrating really quickly. Here are 25 thoughts you have when registering for classes.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
