1. Buffalo Wild Wings
This is literally one of my favorite food places, especially on Thursdays when they have 60 cent wings. My go to plate is a medium size boneless with medium sauce and southwest ranch. Not regular ranch, southwest ranch. I came to this genius realization when my friends and I ordered fried pickles and had extra dipping sauce left over. So, I decided to dip a wing in and since then I haven’t turned back. Other than wings, B-Dubs offers a sports themed atmosphere with TVs everywhere you look and has a wide variety of food to offer.
2. Giordano’s
Now if you live anywhere in the Midwest/Chicagoland area and haven’t already been to Giordano’s, you’re missing out. This pizzeria is famous for their deep-dish pizzas, which are like heaven on a plate. My favorite so far has been the Chicago Classic, with pepperoni, green peppers, mushroom, and onions. This all comes in a deep-dish pizza full of tasty sauce and melty cheese. My mouth is watering just writing about this pizza, so if you’re in the area and this is an option of where to eat, I’d go here.
3. Fazoli’s
This was a place that my friends and I stumbled upon one time and since then we haven’t looked back. It’s a fast food Italian place that has delicious Italian meals and their bread sticks are God-tier. The best part about it all is that since it’s fast food, the food comes out quickly, but don’t think that the title “fast food” means the quality is any less. The food is reasonably priced and tastes amazing; unfortunately, it is a smaller chain so it may not be in your town, but it’s one to keep an eye out for.
4. Panera
Panera is another one of my favorite dine in fast food places that have affordable food that tastes quality. Probably the best item on the menu there, and one I swear by, is the broccoli cheddar soup, which is served with a side of chips, bread, or an apple. The menu has other amazing options, including the macaroni and cheese as well as salads and sandwiches. The restaurant has a nice, quiet atmosphere that is a combination of coffee shop and dine in. The food is delivered quickly and is a nice place to go for lunch if you’re looking for a nice, relaxing place to eat mid-day.
5. Olive Garden
If you haven’t already gathered this, I am a huge fan of Italian food. Therefore, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that one of my favorite restaurants is Olive Garden, one of the most known Italian food chains. They offer a wide variety of Italian meals ranging from classics like spaghetti and lasagna to more complex dishes. I, personally, like to go with the chicken gnocchi soup because it is not only delicious and cheap, but unlimited. Just like Fazoli’s, Olive Garden has bread sticks that are so delicious they make you want to cry; a place you need to go to at least once in your life.
