Sometimes referred to it as the Big Apple, the Melting Pot or even the Capital of the World, their is no denying that this city is symbolic of humanities progression. Whether you walk along 5th Avenue or the tiny streets of Downtown you are assured to find an eye catcher sight in your surroundings. Here are the top 10 spots, that makes this city the best in the world:

1. Time Square

Time Square is a complete no-go for locals but in the case of tourism it is the place to be. In case you haven’t been living in the 21st century, Time Square basically has everything you will need to survive in case of world devastation. It basically contains every big clothing brand name in the world. In case you get hungry in your shopping spree, you can be assured that within 50 feet of your shopping location you are bound to stumble upon a food restaurant. Not to mention, Broadway shows, huge movie theaters, random street shows and if you’re lucky the occasional fights. You’re bound to have good time.

2.The Statue of Liberty

If you have plenty of time in your hand, then the Statue of Liberty is the spot for you. Even though the inconvenience of the long lines are a drag, just taking a single look of Lady Liberty up close and personal will sure make it worth it. The minuscule Island is full of insta-worthy pictures whether it is looking directly above to the statue, a quick sail to Ellis Island, and a breath taking view of Battery Park.

3. Central Park

There is not much to say here, the best part of Central Park is simply getting lost in it. Take it upon yourself to find the hidden gems in the park like Belvedere Cast, the Bow Bridge and Bethesda Terrace.

4.Grand Central Station

Grand Central Station is one of the most beautiful landmarks in all of NYC. From the stunning mural of the constellations in its ceilings, to the grandiose chandeliers and cute small shops, Grand Central Station is one spot you don’t want to miss when you visit NYC.

5.NYC Itself

Best part of NYC is that you don’t have to visit all the tourist places to have a good time. Go to Queens and enjoy hundreds of culture through cuisines, hit a small bar in Brooklyn or go to Van Cortland Park in the Bronx.
