However, Netflix has a collection of scary movies that are rather... well... hit or miss and anyone could tell you that just by going to the reviews. Rated

1h 30m

Review:

Probably one of the most horrifying supernatural films of all time! The Taking Of Deborah Logan brings fear and disgust to a new level with an Alzheimer's patient that is suffering from more than just Alzheimer's. It brings a whole new fear to the unknown.

Review:

A brilliant film that has something for every type of horror movie junkie! A series of short episodes divided into VHS tapes leaves a lot of room for material and topics to be addressed that will scare the pants off of anyone with a Netflix account! Just don't turn off the lights...

Review:

"The Babadook" sets the bar high for indie horror and is definitely a must see! If you love supernatural and psychological horror than you will love this as it is the perfect combination of the two but remember, "If it's in a word or in a look, you can't get rid of the Babadook!"

4. "We Are What We Are" (2013)

Rated R

1h 45m

Synopsis:

A family tradition forces two teenage daughters into cannibalism but with an overprotective father it seems as though they will never be able to escape this lifestyle alive but the girls have a plan.

Review:

Never underestimate the strength and will of cannibalistic children to change. In this film about overcoming obstacles and religion you learn a lot about who you are shaped into the people are by your parents but how, despite the rumors, you are always able to change yourself. If you want an amazing story with a great theme then "We Are What We Are" is just your speed.

5. "Mine Games" (2012)

Review:

I have never had a movie surprise me as much as this movie did about half way in! The sole content of this movie is wonderful and brings an element to the table I have never seen before in a horror film. If you like thinking outside the box and questioning your entire existence then this is the movie for you!
