As a kid, my love for football grew on me started at the age of 5 when I watched Texas vs USC play in the BCS National Championship game. But if it wasn't for this video game franchise that the NCAA needs to bring back, I would've never cared about football in general. I'm talking about NCAA Football. Nothing beats the feeling when you were playing Dynasty mode and tried to recruit your favorite player to the team, changing a sorry football team a power five team, and just spending HOURS making your player win a lot of Heismans on Road To Glory.

Here's the top 5 NCAA Football Games to ever grace the consoles. #1 will knock your socks off.

5. NCAA FOOTBALL 11

EA Sports

Summer 2010 made it even more fun when this dropped. Team Builder, Crazy pre-game entrances, and how the players actually moved made the game 10x better than it was. It also introduced Online Dynasty which my older brother was so hooked on more than Road to Glory. The Commercial was really good too. It created hype within the release.

4. NCAA FOOTBALL 13

EA Sports

The most underrated and hardest college football game to ever come out. It changed the game with Heisman moments game mode too. With Heisman moments you could put your best Heisman winner on any team you liked and create a Heisman moment. Time was so simple back then.

3. NCAA FOOTBALL 07

EA Sports

With one of the greatest running back in college football history gracing the cover of NCAA FOOTBALL 07, everybody had to get their hands on the copy. Just like the cover, it lived up to the hype. It might not had Road to Glory, but the game in general was just fun for its time. Especially when the release of XBOX 360 came out.

2. NCAA FOOTBALL 14

EA Sports

With the last (for now) NCAA football video game ever made, it really left on a good note. Online Dynasty, Uniform updates, and a better game engine. Dynasty really was the popular mode in 14 because of what it had to offer. Trying to recruit your created player and just winning countless games with a garbage college team really made the game and the mode special.

1. NCAA FOOTBALL 06

EA Sports

THE GREATEST COLLEGE FOOTBALL GAME EVER! MATTER OF FACT, THE GREATEST FOOTBALL GAME EVER! This game had everything that everybody wanted at the time. A soundtrack that would never age like milk, the gameplay, and THE ROAD TO THE HEISMAN. Built in video game demos from other sports games too. It came out during a time where college football was in its glory with players Vince Young, Reggie Bush, and Matt Liernart in the game playing like they would in real life. Playing against your friends made it even more entertaining too. To this, I thank you for showing me the love for football and college football video games.

Will we ever get a new college football game soon? God I hope so. I can't play Madden for long knowing the video game franchise I know and love has a chance to come back anytime now. So, if you're reading this NCAA; PLEASE GIVE US BACK OUR BABY.

If you happen to disagree, don't @ me.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
