A good foundation is hard to come by. If you are like me, you are probably looking for a full-coverage foundation that actually lasts. I have combination skin. My t-zone is oily. My eyebrow area and the sides of my nose can be very dry. The list that I am about to provide are my top five full-coverage foundations. These foundations have lasted the longest on my skin type.

1.) L'oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation

This foundation is amazing. I tried it after hearing many good online reviews. It's a liquid foundation with medium coverage that is definitely buildable. It has SPF 24, and is also oil-free. This foundation is cheaper compared to many of the other liquid foundations at the drugstore. At Target, it is $10.79. At Walmart, it is $10.97. This foundation claims to stay on your face 24 hours.

During the summer, I was looking for a foundation that stayed on my face. I worked at a frozen yogurt shop and I was constantly running around the store. Every time I would leave the store, I could feel the foundation melting off my face, but when I tried the L'oreal Pro-Matte, that didn't happen. The foundation stayed on all day. It applies smoothly to the skin and the coverage is buildable. The foundation is completely matte and I will definitely be repurchasing it.

This foundation can be applied with either a brush or a beauty blender. It will look great either way!

2.) L'oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation

This foundation is the complete opposite of the pro-matter, mentioned above. This particular foundation is a dewy foundation, and is the best dewy foundation I have ever used thus far. It lasts all day and it looks good! It does not make it look like your makeup is sliding off of your face, and it is super easy to apply. Application with a brush or a beauty blender will work this foundation, and It blends out well while being lightweight. The coverage for this foundation is a buildable light to medium coverage.

At Target, this foundation goes for $11.99 At Walmart, this foundation goes for $10.97. L'oreal claims this foundation is 24 hours. I would not say that it lasts that long, but it lasts for a work day or a school day. I wear this foundation in the cooler months. It gives me a vibrant look and I know it will not leave my face.

For people with oily skin, I would not wear this foundation because it may not stay.

3.) Wet n' Wild Photofocus Foundation

This foundation is absolutely amazing despite coming with a weird applicator I was skeptical when I first tried this foundation as I had never tried a Wet n' Wild product. I was skeptical at first because Wet n Wild is a cheaper brand and I was afraid it would cause me to break out. However, after hearing good reviews, I picked myself up a bottle., and was completely surprised! It makes my skin look flawless and it photographs beautifully!

This foundation is light coverage and matte, and it is buildable. Wet n' Wild claims that this foundation photographs well in seven different types of light. The seven types of light are Clear Blue Sunlit Sky, Outdoors PM, Indoors PM, Electronic Flash, Fluorescent light, Bathroom Light, and Nightclub Light. I have not experienced all of these lights, but so far it has worked well in all situations for me.

It is easily blendable, and I use a brush and I prefer those results better than using a beauty blender. It lasts all day. This foundation goes for $5.99 at CVS, Walgreens, and Amazon. I would not recommend buying this product at Walmart, the price is $9.45, which is a lot more expensive than other retailers.

4.) Covergirl Ready, Set Gorgeous Foundation

This foundation is oil-free and matte. It is easily blendable and easy to apply, and I prefer to use a brush rather than a beauty blender. This foundation is a light to medium coverage. Don't fret! It is buildable coverage an is also super lightweight!

I was skeptical about buying this foundation, at first as I never have good experiences with Covergirl products. They normally not work with my face, but after seeing many wonderful reviews, I had to give it a try. I was really impressed! I have been using it for a short while, but it one of my favorites already. It lasts all day and it makes my skin look so smooth!

This foundation goes for $7.99, at Ulta. At Target, this foundation goes for $7.59. At Walmart, this foundation goes for $6.94 and Amazon.

5.) Nars Sheer Glow Foundation

This foundation can be found at Sephora. While it is more high end, it is my second favorite dewy foundation. I am in the shade Mont Blanc, and I started using this foundation over the summer after watching Zoella rave about it for years. I apply this foundation with a beauty blender. The coverage for this foundation is medium and sheer, but is buildable. It gives off a satin, dewy finish.

This foundation does not last 24 hours in my opinion. It lasts for 6-8 hours tops. It brightens up the face and hydrates the skin! At Sephora, this high-end foundation goes for $47.00.

I have tried a few foundations in my day: Olay BB cream, the Garnier BB cream, the Tarte Amazonian Clay liquid foundation, the Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation, the L'oreal Infallible Total Coverage Foundation, the L'oreal True Match foundation, Rimmel Match Perfection foundation, and the L'oreal cushion foundation. These are all really great foundations, but if I had to pick five favorites out of all of the foundations and BB creams I've tried, those are the ones mentioned above. Comment below your favorite foundations! And try out the products I recommended!

I'll never forget the day that someone told me these words: "Madison, I think you're a good friend to everyone but yourself." I stood there completely in awe of that statement. Now, I realize that you can't fully be there for other people unless you're there for yourself, too. You can't show up for others until you're willing to show up for yourself.
