The Top 5 iPhone 7 Rumors
Apple

Everybody and their mother owns an iPhone these days, with their simple yet intuitive components that make the phone the one (almost) everybody loves. Following tradition, a new line of iPhones is practically confirmed to be releasing in the 3rd quarter of this year. So what can we expect? Although not confirmed and purely speculated, here are the top 5 rumors about the new and upcoming iPhone 7.

1. A Dual-Lens Camera

Leaks and early prototypes of the iPhone 7 show the rear exterior to be sporting a dual-lense camera. Comparing this to Samsung's recent Galaxy Note 7 (which boasts superior camera quality), it is plausible that the new line of iPhones will be boasting this feature, holding its spot as one of the best smartphone cameras ever to be created. This leap forward in technology would allow for new possibilities while recording videos and taking stills during, which could be done simultaneously with a dual-lease camera. This push in a better camera makes a lot of sense for the new generation of iPhones.

2. A Touch Sensitive Home Button

No longer will the days of a physical, clickable home button be with us. Rather, the use of 3D touch (introduced in the iPhone 6S) will supposedly replace the physical home button, replacing it with a touch sensitive, non-clickable button to return to your home screen. This could be a very interesting design choice, having no buttons protruding from the front of the phone. This addition would be a welcome one for any iPhone fan, and would get rid of the problems of physical home buttons breaking and malfunctioning constantly. Here's to hoping this rumor is true.

3. Completely Waterproof

Although it was not advertised, the iPhone 6S was surprisingly very waterproof, capable of being submerged in water for minutes on end and coming out like new. So, it would only make sense to focus more on this feature, and advertise it to be a waterproof phone. Competing with Samsung's Galaxy handsets, the push to create a waterproof iPhone is not only plausible, but sensible. Being able to take pictures underwater is already cool, but on your iPhone? Even cooler.

4. No Headphone Jack

With any smartphone you can think of, there has always been a headphone jack to plug your headphones into. On the go, at home, your phone, for a lot of people, is your source of all things music. With the iPhone 7, rumors have risen to speculate the idea of the removal of this accessory. However bad this may sound, there is a heavy positive on this rumor in particular. The introduction of wireless earphones, headphones, etc. could reimagine the way we listen to our favorite podcasts, music, or movies. This could also go hand-in-hand with the push to waterproof the phone, creating one less hole that water could get into. The idea of no headphone jack is one that raises eyebrows, and would certainly be a change to the iPhone line-up.

5. Gear Up For September 7

September 7 is the rumored date of the official unveiling of the iPhone 7, which falls into line of previous releases of new generations of iPhones. This is exciting considering how close this date is, and there is no doubt the new iPhone will be trending everywhere you look. If the date is correct, preorders will be available on this date, usually shipping the phones out the following week. Regardless of the true date, the unveiling of the iPhone 7 will be soon. Gear up and get ready to camp outside of your local Apple store.

With these rumors surfacing, the new generation of iPhone is looking to be one of innovation, or at least more than previous years. The competition is heated, with Apple no longer dominating the handset department. With these added changes, plus the introduction of the new iOS10 (which is available as a beta now), the iPhone 7 could potentially be one of the greatest advancements for your favorite smartphone that you've seen yet.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
