Top 5 Holiday Flavors

Each year, Dunkin' Donuts release holiday flavors. Usually there are some returning fan-favorites as well as some new ones. A cup of your favorite flavor and watching the snow fall outside your window really puts you in the holiday spirit. It's always a fun time when you go to Dunkin' and see that they have new flavors. I always try to try each flavor once throughout the season before they are gone. Here is a list of my favorite Dunkin' Donuts holiday flavors.

1. Peppermint Mocha. A classic holiday flavor and favorite for all coffee lovers. Peppermint Mocha is one of Dunkin's annual flavors and is not going anywhere anytime soon. The sweet taste of mocha mixed with the fierce peppermint makes it a holiday classic. Try it iced or hot, whichever you prefer.

2. Sugar Cookie. This one was my favorite holiday flavor in 2015. I have a sweet tooth and a coffee addiction, so this flavor was perfect for me. Dunkin' did a great job creating a flavor that actually tasted like a sugar cookie. Some peopled loved this flavor while others thought that it was disgusting.

3. Gingerbread. Couldn't make and decorate a gingerbread house? That's okay because Dunkin' had a gingerbread flavor. This holiday flavor was introduced in 2012 and made a reappearance in 2015. This one was very good and really put people into the holiday spirit.

4. Créme Brulée. This new holiday flavor is making its first appearance this holiday season. Out of all the holiday flavors for 2016, this one is by far my favorite. It's sweet, but not too sweet. It is also not a typical holiday flavor. Dunkin' brought something new to the table this season and it is amazing. Hopefully they bring it back next season.

5. Snickerdoodle Cookie. Last, but not least, Snickerdoodle Cookie. This flavor was released at the same time that sugar cookie was, so 2015 was a battle of the cookies. Unlike the sweet taste of sugar cookie, this flavor was sweet mixed with cinnamon.

All these flavors are amazing and really add to the holidays. Iced or hot, these flavors will win over your heart and become a favorite of yours too. The holidays would not be complete without holiday flavors from Dunkin' Donuts and other coffee companies (cough, Starbucks, cough). If you are not a fan of any of the holiday flavors, you can send an email to Dunkin' and request flavors. What are your favorites? Which ones are you hoping to return next season? I hope you have a happy and healthy holiday season, and that you get to try some of these holiday flavors!

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

One Book Made Me Question Existence In Its Entirety

"The Stranger" by Albert Campus touches upon many heavy elements... but not in the way you expect. Although it touches upon the aspects of death and love, it also deals with a hidden philosophy similar to that of nihilism.

The story follows the short life events of Meursault, a Frenchman whose carelessness for his actions eventually ends him in jail and dependent on a jury of people to judge the ethicality of his decision and the punishment that he deserves. He eventually gets the death penalty and all throughout he is nonchalant and almost apathetic towards his situation. He finally snaps when the prison sends a priest to him to absolve him of his sins and to cajole him in confessing to the lord.
