5 Gifts to Get Your Friends

I pride myself on being thoughtful, especially when it comes to gifts for my friends. I love buying gifts for people and seeing a smile on their face when they receive it. I've been having trouble figuring out what to get my for my friends and roommates though so I've put together a list of practical, affordable, and cute gifts!

1. Jewelry

A girl can never have too many rings. Or bracelets. Or necklaces. Pandora has plenty of beautiful pieces to choose from and a lot of these options will not break your wallet! Alex and Ani is also a good choice if you want to splurge a little bit on your friends. Hey, if you're lucky, you'll even get to borrow the accessory when it just goes perfectly with your outfit!

2. Shot Glass

Like jewelry a girl can never have too many shot glasses. They're essential for weekends and there's so many options to choose from. Designs and styles vary and you can even create or customize your own on websites like etsy.com.

3. Love Your Melon Hat

I recently purchased one of these and I have never loved a hat more. Not only do the proceeds go to a good cause, but they're adorable, affordable, and super cute! I've gotten compliments on my hat whenever I've worn it. These hats were at the top of my list! They're plenty of colors and styles to choose from at a reasonable price!

4. Gag Gift or White Elephant

Sometimes the best gifts don't include the latest fashion trends or technology. Sometimes, they include a laugh and a good memory. My roommate is obsessed with bananas so I bought her something related to them. (Spoiler Alert, roomie) Think about your inside jokes and create a gift idea based around that!

5. Gift Cards

Ask any college student how their financial situation is going right now and I guarantee they will tell you they are poor. This is most likely followed up with an "I'm starving." A gift card to any restaurant, coffee shop, or store is much appreciated. Gift cards allow us to continue to indulge in all of our favorites without the guilty feeling of knowing our bank account hates us.

No matter what you end up getting for your roommates or friends, they're going to love it! It's all about spending time and enjoying the moments. The price you spent on your friends doesn't indicate the love you have for them! Happy gifting!
