Who doesn't love dogs?

Top 5 Favorite Dogs

I've been told before when I was younger, I always saw dogs and said “Doggie!” and pointed to them… well, I still do! Dogs are my favorite thing in the entire universe. When I die, I want to be reincarnated as a dog. Dogs are very good for people with depression or anxiety (free anxiety dogs) and to up boot your mood/day. They can be your very best friend, mine sure is, even if I think she hates me sometimes, you can always depend on them. Do you need help thinking about what kind of dog you should get next?! Here are some of my favorite breeds of the pro’s and con’s and hopefully could help you.

1. Bison Frise

I love Bison frise! They are so cute. I own one of myself (on the top). I have loved the breed for a long time. I can't just say I love them, why do I love them? Here are some benefits of having a Bison Frise: If your allergic to dogs, Bison Frises are hypoallergenic, so no more worries of getting rashes, they do not shed! They are super friendly with people and other dogs. They yap but are not loud, and they have a known life span. They live up to 17 since they are little. Now some cons? If you insist. Depends what kind of grooming you give them (bison cut or not) there is sometimes a lot of brushing, they often have skin problems. They can be prone to bladder stones. My dog is 12 years old, she is old so she has a lot of sun spots and a lot of warts and not as active like she was as a puppy. Another health problem is tumors, which is a bad thing, cancerous or not. My dog has a tumor in her chest and hopefully not cancerous. But Bison Frises are very good dogs if you're looking for a tiny dog or a hypoallergenic dog.

2. Pomeranian

If I could have a second dog, Pomeranian is where its at. Then again, I say that about every breed. Here is another small dog you could love even more. Some benefits are their cuteness, you can carry them in a small tote bag in airports or train stations, they tend not to get fat as fast as other breeds, they tend not to break items in your house or wherever, and they are very active! Cons—they are so fragile since they are tiny. They can be easily injured from another animal, they shed, and they are stubborn of course since they come from descended working dogs! On the bottom, is the somewhat famous Pomeranian named as ‘Jiffpom’ I follow him on snapchat (LOL), and he is adorable and I want him.

3. Husky

OMG huskies! They are gorgeous and have beautiful eyes! Another dog I always say I want! As always, here are some benefits. They are friendly will all ages, they can be very honest with their actions, this can be a bad or good thing but they are not guard dogs! They aren't fussy eaters, and can get along with other breeds! Cons—they shed so much. They could be too independent. They can be very destructive around the house like breaking things when excited or chew stuff up. They need to be with company a lot. Got a garden? Say goodbye to that. Husky’s are my dream dogs, who cares if they shed.

4. Pug

They are totes adorbs. They may not be as cute if they slobber too much. Benefits—can be very excellent family pets! They are equal opportunity lovers. They can be hilarious with their facial expressions. They love company so you will always have a cuddle partner, cute or not cute. They snore! Cons—they do shed a lot, doesn't matter their size. They tend to have few health problems from breath issues to brain issues. Sadly, they tend to be pigs. They eat a lot. Can someone give me a pug please?

5. Dachshund

Weiner Dogs. I love these dogs. You should see them when they run! Another breed I would choose. Benefits are they are so lovable and adorable. Obviously, they are loyal and intelligent! Cons—they tend to be a barker. Their weight must be monitored closely. I've seen fat ones before. They jump so much. Power to the Weiner dogs!

Those are my top five favorite dogs, and hey, maybe I helped you to find your perfect dog if you're searching for one to adopt!

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
