Disney movies have been around since 1937, when Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was released. I've been watching Disney movies since I was born so you can imagine that picking a top 5 was extremely difficult, but here we are. I did it.
5.) Mulan (1998)
Mulan is one of my favorites simply due to the fact that she goes against society's norms and risks her own life to protect her family. The songs are probably some of my favorites and Mushu is one of the best sidekicks of all time.
4.) Zootopia (2016)
Zootopia is next on my list because of the underlying message of the film, which about how two different cultures can live together as one. The fact that a fox and a rabbit work together to solve a crime can be related to the real world just makes the movie that much better.
3.) Frozen (2013)
Frozen is a favorite and if you don't know that, then you don't know me. It's a favorite because it shows that there's more than one kind of true love. It shows little girls how your sister's (or family's) love can also be considered true love.
4.) The Lion King (1994)
The Lion King is (clearly) one of my all time favorites. I don't really have solid reasons as to why this movie is #2 on my list, I just love this movie. It could be because I love cats and lions are just giant cats, but that's just me.
1.) The Little Mermaid (1989)
The Little Mermaid is my all time favorite movie. Again, if you don't know this, you don't know me. I love mermaids, I love the story. I love every single thing about this movie and I could watch it on repeat everyday for the rest of my life.
