Every year brings on new trends, comeback trends, and awful trends. Some even last for years or come out of the wood works to be revived. Some are just plain incomprehensible and are a mystery as to why it even exists in the first place. And at the end of every year people try to kill some of the worst fashion trends from that year or that have lasted into the year. So here are the top five fashion trends that seem to have gotten on everyone’s nerves at some point in their lives.

1. Mom Jeans

It’s a shameful term used by “fashion insiders.” It needs to go. Women are sick and tired are hearing the words “mom jeans” seeing themselves as unflattering and disgusting when they dress in the considering pair.

2. Sneaker Boots

I have heard different names for this trend, but I like the term sneaker boots, so that is what I am going to call them. You can have sneakers or you can have boots, but you cannot have both. How am I supposed to know what they are? It is annoying, and it does not make any sense. Sorry, not sorry.

3. Excessively Holey Jeans

Especially the ones with the holes under and/or on the butt. Jeans are supposed to keep you warm and a few holes to add flair. If you are wearing jeans that are basically holes, how are you supposed to keep warm during the cold autumn and winter months? You might as well not even wear pants at all.

4. Bucket Hats

These are unflattering on just about everyone so they got to go. They should only be acceptable when you are fishing. It is only cute then or on very little kids.

5. The Man Bun

I am probably going to get yelled at by at least one person for this and it technically is not fashion, but it is close enough. The “man bun” has got to go! I am sick and tired of almost every male trying to pull this off when they can’t. Sorry, but it is getting a bit ridiculous.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
