Top 5 Early 2000's Heartthrobs

You ever just wake up one day and think, “Wow, remember that guy from Nickelodeon or Disney Channel from back in the day? No..no, the cute one! I wonder what he looks like now!” Trust me, you are not alone, and that inner fan girl in you still exists. Lucky for you, I have tracked down the heartthrobs of your childhood to give you a before and after look at your secret boyfriends. Here is my top 5 list of “Where Are They Now.” Enjoy! (Before is left and after is on the right)

1. Phil from Phil of the Future.

My main man Raviv (Ricky) Ullman was a total dream-machine in “Phil of the Future,” on Disney Channel. His career as Phil only lasted two seasons starting in 2004, but man do we wish there was more. Maybe that is just me. Recently, he was featured in a 2015 film The Other Side as Jacob, the 2015 television series Broad City in "The Heat" episode, and performed on stage in Bad Jews as Jonah in 2015. Just look at that smile.

2. Ethan Craft from Lizzie McGuire.

Our favorite naive heartthrob, Ethan Craft, also known as Clayton Snyder, has been stealing hearts since 2004 on Disney Channel’s “Lizzie McGuire,” featuring Hillary Duff. The show aired 65 episodes which were divided into two seasons, but it also had a spin-off for it’s own movie, “The Lizzie McGuire Movie.” In 2014, he was featured in an NCIS episode "Page Not Found," and recently was in the YouTube series as Fyodor Dostoevsky in Edgar Allan Poe's Murder Mystery Dinner Party in 2016. Keep on being irresistible, Clayton. I have forever loved spaghetti because of you.

3. Austin from a Cinderella's Story.

Oh, Chad Michael Murry...where are you now? He had us hooked in Freaky Friday with Lindsey Lohan, and again in a Cinderella's Story with Hillary Duff. In 2015, Murray was in the film To Write Love on Her Arms, and Outlaws and Angels in 2016. In 2015, he also starred as Henry in the television series Agent Carter. Regardless of what he does in his career, he will still be the cutest man alive for all teenagers in the early 2000's. "Sorry, I waited for the rain."

4. Cliff Pantone from Bring it On.

Jesse Bradford, although a little older, played the brother of our favorite cheerleader has been cheering his way to number 4 of "Where Are They Now?" He had a large array of movies and television show appearances. Recently he is featured on NCIS as John Bishop. I wonder if he can make a mixtap for that, too.

5. Lil’ Bow Wow from Like Mike.

Besides owning Michael Jordan's old J's, ' Bow Wow, now Bow Wow, has been seen in many Tyler Perry films. He went from childhood favorite to modern heartthrob real quick. He doesn't sing much anymore, but he has been known to create some early 2000's favorites like Shortie Like Mine, Like You and Let Me Hold You. Yeah, You can hold me lol.

Tune in next week for the next version of "Where Are They Now."

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

Yes, it IS a sport. Yes, I fall all the time. No, I do not ride in jeans with a cowgirl hat on.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
