Comic book based movies and TV shows have taken over today's entertainment business. Here are some of the best moments we've seen.
5: The death of Gwen Stacey
The Amazing Spiderman 2 arguably wasn't the in the top 10 for greatest comic book movies in a long run, but one thing they did right (though it broke every Spiderman fans heart watching it) was the death of Gwen Stacey. Seeing Andrew Garfield break down destroyed nearly everyone even if they weren't satisfied with the film.
4: The death of Jason Todd/the second Robin and the introduction of the Red Hood
Batman has always had some amazing and well known storylines. If you mention Death in the Family to any Batman fan they would instantly know what you were talking about. In 2010 they released an animated movie about the story which is arguably one of the best Batman animated feature created to this day. With Jensen Ackles from the hit TV show Supernatural taking on the role of Jason Todd aka the Red Hood, they really couldn't find anyone better for the job. With the release of the Batman Vs Superman this last spring, which made a clear point to show the destroyed Robin costume- it makes me wonder if soon we will be seeing Jason in the DC cinematic universe sometime in the future.
3: Captain America vs Iron Man in Civil War
Captain America and Iron Man are basically opposites when it comes to nearly anything. So when in both the comics and the movie Stark signs the Accords, they obviously clash. The overall battle of the two was probably one of the greatest things to happen in 2016 on the big screen, though the comic series and movie ended on two completely different notes.
2: We finally see Deadpool in action
Nothing else really needs to be said.
1: Negan's Victim
One of the most devastating moments for fans of The Walking Dead was by far watching Abraham and Glenn being brutally murdered by Negan in the season premier at the end of October. Though they changed it so Glenn wasn't the only victim of Negan's attack, it was still a perfect rendition of the comic book.
