A boy band is a group of usually young, attractive teenaged boys who are created with the idea of appealing to the teenage girls of that era. There have been many to come and go throughout the years which started as solo careers, as television stars or even as brothers. Boy bands will always be relevant for as long as there are teenaged girls who will love their music. Usually the music they produce are pop hits, ones you'd hear at a sweet sixteen. Below are my list of the top 5 boy bands by personal preference and not grossing.

5. 5 Seconds of Summer

Though still fairly new, the band has a large fan base and a couple top hits on the charts. They currently are the new faces of pop-punk music and are taking the music industry by storm.

4. 'N Sync

Most girls born in 1990 and on will always have a soft spot for the 'N Sync boys, where Justin Timberlake started his career. These boys formed 'N Sync in 1995 and performed at the Super Bowl in 2001.

3. One Direction

Even with Zayn leaving and Harry starting a solo career, we can't help but love their music and the amazing story behind how they all started as a band thanks to Simon Cowell. Time certainly goes by fast once you realize One Direction was formed in 2010. The band has changed, but their music remains the upbeat pop it always was. For a boy band to last this long is definitely a milestone.

2. Backstreet Boys

I might be a little bias since they're the first CD I've ever had, but you can't help but stop and sing along whenever a Backstreet Boys song plays on the radio. Also, with their recent performances, you can't help but fall back in love with them! Recently they performed with Meghan Trainor on Greatest Hits, the television show.

1. Jonas Brothers

Despite their tragic break up, don't worry we forgive you Nick, the Jonas Brothers have a special place in all of our hearts. We got to watch as Nick and Joe found their own voices in music and Kevin settled down for the domestic life. Though no longer performing in a single band, the family bond has never lost its strength. They were formed in 2005 and sadly broke up in 2013.

What are your top boy bands? Comment and share to discuss with your friends and family!

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

You're away from home and your mom who can take care of you and all you really want to do is just be in your own bed. Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
