Every college girls' favorite holiday is quickly approaching: HALLOWEEN! As correctly stated in Mean Girls "In girl world, Halloween is the one night a year (or three nights at Marist) when a girl can dress like a total slut, and no other girls can say anything about it." Most girls start planning their outfits several months in advance, making sure to think of the most creative costume ever seen. Realistically, most of these costumes fall under the basic bitch category. Also most of these costumes can be found in your closet, but girls like a reason to spend more money on clothes we will probably never wear again!
Any slutty animal (Cat, Bunny, Mouse, Dog, Elephant?, Giraffe?, Horse?, Cow?)
Probably the most common/easiest out of all the basic bitch Halloween costumes. Just throw on a tight black dress, hooker heels, and some animal ears and Voila! You have now transformed into a slutty animal just like 75% of the other girls at your school.
Angels/Devils
Another easy one, all you need is another basic bitch friend and some red and white clothing. Not totally overdone, but still basic bitch material.
Sexy Nurse, Cop, Firefighter, Army Girl
This one usually requires going to the costume store and buying one of those overpriced, poorly made costumes in the "sexy section." But I mean, who doesn't want to be a sexy nurse, cop, firefighter, or army girl for one night, right?
School Girl
Every girl who went to a private school LOVES this one because they can pull out the old kilt and actually make it look kinda sexy.
Risky Business
Nothing says basic like wearing a guy's t-shirt with a bra and booty shorts. This outfit can also be used as the "one night stand look" for another night of Halloweekend. Two for the price of one-- killing two birds with one stone.
I highly suggest using at least one of these outfits for your Halloweekend. Yes, they may be basic, but who has time to be that creative in college? Realistically, your costume will probably be covered in alcohol after anyway. Have a good one, kids, and remember: stay basic.
