Top 5 Things 90s Kids Won't Forget

Hey 90s kids, we aren't getting younger, but this list will definitely make you feel like a kid again.

It's 2016, and let's face it, times have changed. Our cell phones talk to us, robots are running hotels, and there are PIZZA VENDING MACHINES (no seriously look it up). And although these changes have made life a little bit easier, there's one thing for certain, us 90s kids DEFINITELY had it better.

Here's a list of 5 things 90s kids won't forget:

1. Television Shows

Every 90s kid knows that the tv shows now have nothing on what WE used to watch on tv. Kids these days know nothing about waking up early Saturday mornings to sit in front of the tv, in your PJs, with a bowl of cereal JUST to watch the good toons. Nothing screams more 90s than our selection of the best shows, from All That, to Rugrats, Magic School Bus, and Looney Toons. And let's face it, EVERY 90s kid wanted to be slimed.

2. Food

What does food have to do with being a 90s kid? EVERYTHING. These were the times where our hot dogs were being dipped in green and blue ketchup, and our favorite meal was the one and only microwavable, Kid Cuisines. But of course we can't talk about food without bringing up the sweets, because we ALL know there was nothing better than biting into the notorious Wonder Ball. What is the Wonder Ball you asked? Well the most exciting piece of chocolate a kid can have, because nothing is better than biting into a chocolate ball with candy filled inside.

3. Toys

Back when our Game Boys didn't have color, and the only responsibility we had was to take care of our Tamagachi. The only socializing kids this generation does is through technology, but back when us 90s kids were little our form of texting was passing notes and telephone was an actual game. Back when the only fortune tellers we had were cootie catchers, and the MASH game. Believe it or not, Pokemon isn't a new trend, but back in OUR day we had to play the old fashion way.... With cards.

4. Music

Because before Britney was seeking Amy, she was asking for us to hit her one more time. The nineties was when many of the stars today made their first debut. This was back when Justin Timberlake had cornrows and was telling everyone across the world Bye Bye Bye. Before One Direction, there was N'Sync and The Backstreet Boys, and the only brothers we had to crush on were Aaron and Nick Carter. And even though the song came out in 2000, any 90s kid will tell you, "I Want Candy" was a hit.

5. Being Kids

Let's face it, we aren't children anymore, and are all becoming adults. There's no more recess or nap time, we can't ask mommy to make everything better, and our imaginary friends have ceased to exist. Monopoly money won't pay for our expenses anymore, and play dough food doesn't sound nearly as appetizing. Sleepovers are a thing of the past, and we are no longer afraid of what's under our bed. Being an adult isn't easy, and I bet we all wish we could go back.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
