My Top 4 Picks For Plus Size Clothing

People come in all different shapes and sizes. I found that out when I was growing up and I realized I could't fit into all the same cute clothes as my friends. Sometimes I would have to buy clothes that weren't that cute because nothing cute was ever made for plus sized girls and women. In high school I decided that that needed to change and that I wanted to expand the amount of clothes in my closet, I mean come on who doesn't love clothes?! I began looking for places online that sold plus size clothes and boy am I happy I did. I came a cross quite a few and I would like to share some of them with you!

1. Forever 21+

I can not tell you how much I love this store! They sold cute clothes in not only smaller but in plus sizes! When I found this out, I went crazy! I immediately starting looking for the closest one to me and I begged my mom to take me. Their clothes are so cute and because they began selling cute plus sized clothes they increased the amount of customers they were getting. They were also starting to give girls and women confidence in themselves that not matter what size you wear, you can still look good af!

2. Torrid

I absolutely live for this store! The majority of the clothes in my clothes are probably from Torrid and I am okay with that. This store is mostly clothes in plus sizes and not only do they have cute plus clothes, they have cute shoes including wide calf boots! I love this store and it gives me confidence just walking into the store because I know, no matter what I will find something to fit me!

3. Boutique by Ashley Nell Tipton at JCPenney

I recently just found this brand last year and I immediately fell in love. Boutique sells so many cute clothes in all different sizes. From skirts to dresses to tops, you are sure to found something you cannot live without! I definitely recommend this brand! The clothes are super cute and super affordable and will make you feel so good about yourself!

4. Lane Bryant

I have been shopping at Lane Bryant for many years now and I love their clothes. Not only do they have cute clothing, they have cute intimates! Most places that sell intimates make the smaller sizes cute and the bigger sizes just plain colors, but not at Lane Bryant. Everything they sell is cute and also affordable and they sell active wear which I love!

All of these stores are great for plus sized women and teens. The clothes are cute and affordable and you are always sure to found something you love! These stores are great at giving women confidence and it is sure to put a smile on their faces. I also recommend you download the apps for these stores if they have one because that is the easiest way to get discounts and coupons! Happy shopping!

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
