As we are starting to become well accustomed to the 2018 life, we start to remember that there is much more time that we have to get through before the year is over. With such time comes a lot of music, and with such music comes albums for us to listen to. I calculate that this year is definitely going to be a year for the history books in terms of albums that may come out this year. Let’s narrow down the top 5 anticipated albums for 2018, and I will give my personal prediction on what date these albums may come out on.

1. Beyonce

Coming in at the top of the list is Queen Bey herself, Mrs. Beyonce Knowles-Carter. As she is one of the originators of never doing promos for their albums, Beyonce’s album has never been announced and we don’t even know if there’s an album to be anticipating for in the first place. However a list of events have given us hints that there is an album on the horizon. First it was announced that she would be headlining this year’s Coachella music festival in Los Angeles, then ticketmaster mistakenly posted the first concert date for the “One The Run 2” tour which is said to take place on July 30th.

If we know Beyonce enough, then we know that she would never do a tour without releasing a whole album beforehand. I’m excited because when she released her self-titled album, Beyonce, back in 2013 I thought that she outdid herself with that album compared to her other albums. Then we she brought out Lemonade, she completely blew her her previous album out the water. So I’m expecting for this album to be even better than Lemonade. Also if the first tour date is taking place in Philadelphia, then I’m extremely excited because that’s my hometown, and I’m definitely losing coin to see both Beyonce and Jay Z again.

Personal Prediction Date: Late March/Early April 2018

2. Rihanna

Now in the late 2000’s and early 2010’s, Rihanna was known to bring out an album every single year. There was times when I was confused on certain songs being on one album, but it was actually on the previous album. Nowadays, Rihanna is not busting out albums as she used to. However she is doing big things such as creating her own Fenty Beauty makeup line, her own PUMA clothing collection, and staring in movies such Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets and Ocean’s 8. With all of that, she have also been featured in hit songs such as Dj Khaled's Wild Thoughts and Kendrick Lamar’s Loyalty. Rihanna’s list of accomplishments in the last couple of years have been extensive, however it has been two years since her last album, ANTI, and her fans are definitely starting to crave some new music from her soon. Also I see her performing at next year’s Super Bowl Halftime show especially if she brings out this album. We will be keeping a lookout on Bad Gal Rih-Rih.

Personal Prediction Date: October/November 2018

3. Nicki Minaj

Nicki, Nicki, Nicki. What can I say. I have a bone to pick with you. Your last album, The Pinkprint, came out FOUR years ago back in 2014. That was definitely a masterpiece album, and all of the features, singles, and covers you did right before and right after the album came out were all fire. However, I feel like you started to rest on your laurels after a while. Your featured verses throughout the year of 2017 were not really on par, and I can’t think of a single single that your brought out during that year that was actually good bar wise. However, you have been MIA recently, so I smell a LP brewing up in the mix. Your most recent verses have been picking up, so I sense you’re starting to get your fans ready for this album. I will definitely be listening to this, and I will be hoping for the best with this album because its Looooooooong overdued, and everyone is ready to her that Nicki that we all know and love.

Personal Prediction Date: July/August 2018

4. Kanye West

Possibly the biggest anticipated album of the year is Mr. West’s album. In my opinion, Kanye have been a musical genius ever since he brought out the College Dropout album back in 2004. Besides his bars, his compositions alone are impecable, and I urge you all to go back and listen to his beats intensively because his beats are seriously out of this world, and are creatively amusing. Now the content of his bars for this next album is what everyone is really looking forward to because as we all know, there is no telling what’s going to come out of this man’s mouth. People are speculating that he’s going to rebuttal the things that Jay-Z mentioned about him on his 4:44 album that came out last summer. People are also speculating that he’s going to get some inspiration from the new member of his family, Chicago West. It will be interesting to see what this album is going to sound like. Fans are aching for more music from Kanye since his last album, Life of Pablo, which came out February 2016. For me, I can’t wait to see what he samples in this album since he’s the master of sampling.

Personal Prediction Date: June/July 2018

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

10 Things Only Equestrians Understand

Yes, it IS a sport. Yes, I fall all the time. No, I do not ride in jeans with a cowgirl hat on.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
