Graduation is coming up for me and my friends in a few months. It's been a long two years and we're going to graduate with our BFA in Creative Writing from Full Sail University. #FullSail

I've thought of some songs here that would be perfect for Grad day.

1. 2 Chainz and Wiz Khalifa - "We Own It"

This had to be my number one. Everything else is random.

2. Michael Jackson - "Man in The Mirror"

Don't you just love this song? I miss you MJ.

3. Jordin Sparks - "One Step At a Time"

Another Go To jam.

4. Justin Bieber Ft. Jaden Smith - "Never Say Never"

Loved Jaden Smith in this. "I was born from two stars so the moon's where I land." #bars

5. Hercules - "I Can Go The Distance"

I'm a Disney geek. Can you go the distance?

6. Phil Collins - "Strangers Like Me"

You must have Phil Collins.

7. Sia - "Unstoppable"

Love Sia!

8. Demi Lovato - "Confident"

Oh Demi! A woman's confidence is the sexiest thing she can wear, right? Especially after graduation.

9. TI Ft Rihanna - "Live your Life"

Graduate. Become unemployed and live your life.

10. R. Kelly - "The Storm Is Over Now"

R Kelly's voice keeps us going.

11. Natasha Bedingfield - "Unwritten"

Natasha wrote this song for everyone. I don't know what I'm doing after graduation. It's unwritten.

12. Sia - "Elastic Heart"

It's just a must. Something about it makes me want to be better.

13. Survivor - "Eye of the Tiger"

How can I not put this on the list? It's classic.

14. Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth - "When I See You Again"

Say Goodbye to some friends and make new ones. (Does anyone else remember when they put this song in the Fast and Furious series for Paul Walker? #RIP)

15. Chris Brown - "Party"

Chris Breezy knows we need to party after graduation. #Nomorehomework

16. Ne-Yo - "Let's Go"

Love me some Ne-Yo.

17. Imagine Dragons - "Thunder"

Blast this in the car with your friends and move on.

18. Imagine Dragons - "Whatever It Takes"

I wish they'd play this as I cross that stage.

19. Ryan Stevenson - "Eye of the Storm"

It's uplifting and inspirational for everyone.

20. Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey - "When You Believe"

Believe in yourself.

21. PussyCat Dolls - "When I Grow Up"

Crossed that stage. You're all grown up now. Time to enter the "Real world."

22. Post Malone - "Congratulations"

Congrats! Your diploma is now obsolete. JK

23. Kendrick Lamar - "Humble"

Stay humble and don't forget the little people when you make it big.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
