1. Jim Halpert

You can’t go wrong with Jim in The Office. He is the office prankster and it never gets old with him. Jim is not number one just because of pranking though, but also because of the way he wins over his wife Pam. Jim and Pam sit near each other for many years and until they eventually start dating and then get married and have a family. They both go through relationships until they find out they are meant to be. The second to last episode of the series makes you want to cry because of what Jim does. Jim makes a video showing just how much his wife means to him. Jim and Pam will always be the favorite couple in the show.

Best pranks done by Jim:

  • “The Stapler.” This is when Jim puts Dwight’s stapler in jello.
  • “Jim Interviews Dwight.” Dwight finds a blunt in the parking area for the office. He starts to interview members of the office and when he gets to Jim things take a turn. Jim starts to interview Dwight and starts to make Dwight think it was him who smoked the blunt.
  • “Asian Jim.” During this prank Pam is in on it as well. Pam and Jim’s friend Steve who is Asian comes into the office to pretend to be Jim. Jim changes his pictures on his desk so that Dwight thinks that he has been sitting next to “Asian Jim” for the past 12 years and hasn’t noticed.
  • “Morse Code.” This is another prank that Pam is in one. Pam and Jim start to talk to each other in Morse code because they want to make Dwight upset. Dwight tells them to stop and they say he is making a big deal over nothing because they don’t know Morse code. They really do know Morse code, but just want to upset Dwight.
  • “It was Dwight.” During the business trip to Florida Jim plays a prank on Dwight in his hotel room. Jim pretends that Dwight kills Jim and does all these things to his room to seem like Dwight did it.

2. Dwight Schrute

Dwight is a very close second to Jim in the office. Dwight is one of the strangest people in the office, but is one of the most memorable. Dwight runs a beat farm with his cousin Mose that beats him on being the weirdest person in the office. Dwight wants to defeat Jim in any way possible. Dwight has a soft side though when it comes to Angela. Dwight and Angela have an off and on relationship and in the end they end up getting married and becoming the second cutest couple in the series.

Dwight's best lines:

  • “Security in this office park is a joke. Last year I came to work with my spud-gun in a duffel bag. I sat at my desk all day with a rifle that shoots potatoes at 60 pounds per square inch. Can you imagine if I was deranged?”
  • “I keep various weaponry strategically placed around the office. I saved Jim's life with a can of pepper spray I had Velcroed under my desk. People say, oh it's dangerous to keep weapons in the home, or the workplace. Well I say, it's better to be hurt by someone you know, accidentally, than by a stranger, on purpose.”
  • “The problem, Jim, is that people who are really suffering from a medical condition won’t receive the care they need because someone in this office is coming up with ridiculous stuff. Count Choculitis… Why did you write that down, Jim? Is it because you know I love Count Chocula?”
  • “Why tip someone for a job I'm capable of doing myself? I can deliver food. I can drive a taxi. I can, and do, cut my own hair. I did, however, tip my urologist, because I am unable to pulverize my own kidney stones.”
  • “I am faster than 80% of all snakes.”

3. Michael Scott

Once Michael leaves the show, in my opinion the show decline a little bit. When Michael Scott was on The Office though he was one of the funniest characters on it. Michael was one of the worst managers, but somehow always made it work in the end. He was never invited to parties with his coworkers but showed up anyways. He had the most relationships throughout the series but ends up with a woman version of himself in the end. Michael Scott was the best manager that Dunder Mifflin ever had and the show was a little less funny without him.

Top Michael Scott scenes:

  • “Michael Scotts Fun Run Race for The Cure.” This scene has many different Michael Scott moments. The first is that he has made a race for rabies which already has a cure. The second is that he gives the check to a fake nurse that he thinks is a real nurse. And the last but not least that he “carbo loads” about 5 minutes before the race with fettuccine alfredo pasta.
  • “Declaring Bankruptcy.” Michael gets into some trouble with his finance and needs to find a way out. He asks Oscar for some help with them and Oscar tells him he might have to declare bankruptcy. Michael takes this is going into the office and yelling “I Declare Bankruptcy!” Oscar informs him he can’t just say that and expect anything to happen.
  • “Hating Toby.” Throughout the series Michael has this hatred for Toby. One of the best scenes that expresses this hate though is when Michael says “If I had a gun with two bullets and I was in the room with Hitler, Bin Laden, and Toby, I would shoot Toby twice.”
  • “Fitting into a row boat.” Michaels relationships are shown throughout the series. He has many women that come in and out of his life. He tries to have some of his coworkers set him up with some of their friends for him as well. One of the scenes where he asks them to help him find a women Phyllis has a woman for him. Michael wants to know though “Could we share a rowboat… could a rowboat support her?” Phyllis eventually says no, but Michael really needed that question answered before going forward.
  • “Mayonnaise and Raisins.” As talked about before Michael goes through quite a lot of women and when he gets dumped by one he doesn’t take it so well. In this scene Jim comes into the break room and tells Michael it’s a little early for ice cream. Michael responds with its never to0 early for ice cream, but this isn’t ice cream its mayonnaise and raisins because there was no ice cream.

gossip girl

On the Upper East Side, Blair Waldorf is an icon. She's what every girl aspires to be. She's beautiful, confident, and can handle any obstacle that life throws at her. Sure, she may just be a television character. But for me, she's a role model and theres a lot that can be learned from Queen B.

As frustrating and annoying as it can be, being a girl is really awesome. We are beautiful inside and out. Not a lot of people may see that, but girls have a ton of amazing qualities.

We have unique flirting skills.

Us girls have a significant way to flirt with other people. Even when we say the most random or awkward things, we have a way of making everything sound cute and planned. It’s just a gift; we’re good like that.

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:

If you are like me, you have an interesting personality. Basically, you love to be sassy and snarky, gossip, and act like a total bitch (not really), but deep down, you are actually a very genuinely nice person. The idea of actually hurting someone truly makes you feel bad, and you probably have never actually hurt someone’s feelings because your kindness always shines through, even if you do not want it to. Not sure exactly what I would call this type of personality, but if you identify with it, here are some feelings you can undoubtedly relate to.
