To the person who needs this,
I want to tell you some daily reminders to help you get through your day or week. I know things happen during the day and in a split second you can say "wow..this day is over" and I really want to tell you-NO! Yes, you are allowed to have a pity-party for yourself, cry a little bit, scream as much as you need to, and know that you need to move on, but do not let it change you! Here are some daily reminders that I tell myself so I know that by the time I wake up in the morning to the time I go to bed, I am the person I want to be and I grew from the time I woke up! These are three simple things, but trust me when I say that everyone needs this reminder.
1. You are smart!
I don't care if you more book smart or common sense smart or even comic book smart, you are smart! You have more knowledge on one thing that someone else does not have! We all have something to offer someone else and they can help you out!
2. You are beautiful!
Make sure you recognize that you are BEAUTIFUL no matter what anyone says! Pick one thing that makes you feel like you are on top of the world at any time! Whether it is your highlight, natural look, your hair when it is up or down, or you just strutting your stuff in sweatpants!
3. You are important!
This movie had this phrase and it just melted my heart! We are all these of these things especially important to someone in our lives! You may think for one second that you do not matter in this world, but that is very wrong because someone looks up to you but you just do not know it yet!
I know these are three simple things that everyone should know, but sometimes people forget these simple things! I even need someone to remind me as I am running around like crazy with my head chopped off, splitting myself up to being there for everyone, and then I forget to give myself even a little bit of time! I know others are like me that sometimes feel as though you are being under appreciated, no one is recognizing the hard work you are doing, and so sometimes you want to shut down and tell them you do not want to do this anymore so you stop caring for a little bit and you do not feel like yourself! DO NOT LET THAT HAPPEN! People will notice and they will wonder what happened to you, they may even say something to you, and soon you will really start to see that you are doing this more for others than even really acknowledgment! Say this to yourself in the mirror before you leave, maybe even have them written down somewhere so you can see the, or maybe even have a playlist that will get you on the right foot no matter how you are feeling!
