As Milwaukee’s chilly air starts to warm and thaw out the students of UWM, one thing is on everyone’s mind: Spring Break. Yep, just 3 weeks to plan out the perfect get away and make it happen, and every good spring break plan needs a playlist to match. Here are ones that never fail to make everyone dance.

20. "Victorious," Panic! At the Disco

It’s eccentric, upbeat, and with a line like “champagne pouring over us, tonight we are victorious,” you can’t help but blast it.

19. "Stayin Out All Night," Wiz Khalifa

This is a low-key song that everyone can relate to. It brings in a little chorus and a heavy beat you can’t ignore.

It’s definitely different but it was basically made for spring break.

17. "She Looks So Perfect," 5 Seconds of Summer

What’s better than a band with "summer" in the name and a song about American Eagle underwear?

16. "Clarity," Zedd

The remixes to this song are endless and perfect for karaoke time in the car with your besties.

15. "Emergency," Icona Pop

This song was barely heard last summer when it first hit the radio, but it’s since grown and has been featured in a ton of Spring Break montages, so naturally it belongs here too.

This song screams summer, and with Joe Jonas serenading you to a slick old-school beat, you can’t help but dance.

11. "21," Hunter Hayes

A new country song that every small town kid can’t help but play on repeat

.

10. "Anything Goes," Florida Georgia Line

So, it’s another country one, and while it’s a little more low-key, the image of campfires and beaches come to mind, and the line with Victoria’s Secret will make it your favorite.

9. "Sorry," Justin Bieber

Whether you like the guy or not, you can’t deny this song gets your group dancing and your most dramatic karaoke faces going.

8. "Work," Rihanna ft Drake

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
