Top 15 Best Disney Movies

Ever since I’ve been a little girl, I’ve adored the movie "Beauty and the Beast". Being the first movie I ever saw "Beauty and the Beast" will forever be my #1 movie to watch on any day.

2. "Tangled"

From long hair to short and frying pans galore, "Tangled" is an all around fun and entertaining movie to get the whole family up and laughing.

3. "Toy Story"

"Toy Story" is not only the best Disney film because it has the best story and the best animation, but also because of the excellent actors, such as Tom Hanks and Tim Allen, chosen to provide the voices of the most memorable characters. The movie is adventurous, exciting, entertaining, good for the whole family, got great characters, and above all, it's fun for the whole family.

4. "The Little Mermaid"

"The Little Mermaid" is one of the best Disney films of the 80's! The songs, the story, and the characters are just wonderful and inspiring. The Little Mermaid is such a fun Disney film and is a great movie for all ages.

5. "Pete's Dragon"

This is an underrated film and it is definitely one of the best live-action movies produced by Disney. The relationship between Pete and Elliot is nothing more than a bond that every child wishes to have with there best friend and pet.

6. "The Jungle Book"

"Look for the bare necessities, The simple bare necessities, Forget about your worries and your strife..." I mean come on, who doesn't love Baloo and Mowgli??? "The Jungle Book" is one of Disney's most memorable and animated films.

7. "Pocahontas"

Once again, this is another by far one of the most under-rated Disney films of all time. "Pocahontas" truly is a very beautiful and inspiring movie for all who watch it!

8. "Mulan"

If you have yet to see it, then I would recommend to do so, you won't regret it. In my opinion, there are too few "girl" heroes in stories and "Mulan" just so happens to be one of the best heroes Disney has. Besides the wonderful and stunning animation, Disney has done a great job in exploring legends from other cultures and have done a fabulous job of bringing them to us.

9. "Winnie the Pooh"

I mean who doesn't LOVE "Winnie the Pooh"?!? Ever since I was a little kid, "Winnie the Pooh" has brought great joy and adventure to my life and has taught me that true friends will be there for you no matter what.

10. "Finding Nemo"

"Finding Nemo" is simply comes alive with lovable characters such as Dory, Nemo, and Crush swimming about their daily lives under the ocean, darting across the screen in funny and laughable manners. The film simply takes the viewer into another world for nearly two hours and one cannot help but be completely captivated by the humorous adventure of Dory and Merlin on their journey to find Nemo.

11. "Big Hero 6"

"Big Hero 6" is a beautiful film, showcasing how much Disney animation has come. "Big Hero 6" is a heartwarming tale that captures something for the entire family and how could you ever forget the star of the film, Baymax. Any scene that he is in steals the film.

12. "The Lion King"

This is truly one of the best Disney movies ever. Who could ever forget the dynamic duo of Timon and Pumba and there phrase "Hakuna Matata"?

13. "Pinocchio"

Who doesn't love the story of "Pinocchio"? This film has to be one of the most beautifully animated Disney features of all time. "Pinocchio" is one of Walt Disney's earliest masterpieces.

14. "Monsters, Inc."

There's something undeniably magical about this Disney movie that brings out your inner child every time that you watch it. This film will have you laughing every chance it gets. Arguably one of the best films due to the childhood phenomena of imagining monsters lurking in one's bedroom closet or under the bed that most likely everyone experienced when they were younger.

15. "Peter Pan"

"Peter Pan" was one of the most iconic films growing up. With songs like "Second Star to the Right" and "You Can Fly", were very catchy for a little girl first watching the movie. Being a lost boy and being able to fly was a big deal to someone who wanted to fly to Neverland and hang with Tinkerbell.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
