Okay, so I LOVE food! The majority of the people I know LOVE food! So I am making a list I compiled with my favorites, and my friends and family's favorite things to eat during the holidays! I also know that there are way more favorites, and I am sorry if this did not make my list this year. There were just too many recipes to choose from if I picked all I would be here for ages, and ages writing a list! So I hope you enjoy this top 14 holiday favorites! 1. Sweet potato casserole (a.k.a yams)
Okay, this is by far one of my very favorite dishes during the holidays! When made with the marshmallows they get nice and toasted in the oven, and it is just heaven! Here is the recipe I used this year.
2. Cheesy potatoes![]()
Okay, I also love cheesy potatoes, although mine usually comes from a box. I found this good looking recipe while searching around although it comes with chicken as well, you can easily take it out, or even replace it with ham.

Now this just sounds like a fun way to get kids to eat their veggies! Besides, you can add chicken, and other things to it as well.
4. Gooey butter cookies
Now this recipe from a friend, I have never tried it, but one day I just might. I found a recipe online, and hey, it looks pretty good!
5. Eggnog
Eggnog is a gift from above! It is just so heavenly there are not enough words to describe it. This is a must for Santa Claus! I found an easy recipe and although it has alcohol in it, you can easily take it out.
6. Pumpkin cheesecake
Now, what type of list would this be without something pumpkin?? I love pumpkin and I love cheesecake, and together they are amazing.
7. Ham
Ham is what my family has for Christmas and Easter, the recipe I found uses a maple glaze.
8. Stuffing
What is Thanksgiving without a huge batch of stuffing? I love homemade stuffing, but the box stuff is great too!
9. Green bean casserole
This is such an easy thing to make. People make it was canned green beans, fresh green beans, and frozen green beans!
10. Fudge
Fudge is amazing! My favorite is the classic milk chocolate fudge. Fudge can be so universal, you can even use almond bark for a "healthier" recipe, but there is white chocolate fudge, dark chocolate fudge, and even peppermint fudge!
11. Gingerbread men
Not only are these cute, they are scrumptious too! You can even design them however you like!
12. Peanut brittle
I haven't had peanut brittle in such a long ling, but when you taste it, it gives off a really amazing flavor and not to mention crunch!
13. Cinnamon rolls
These are an all day everyday treat! They make your house smell great, and are good cold, or warm!

Literally any type of pie. Pecan, peach, apple, pumpkin, or even key lime pie. Your favorite pie, because all of them are amazing! I chose a peach recipe to share with you guys!
