In today's current society, we have many companies that are constantly pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve, and what we can buy as consumers ourselves. I have compiled a list of all of the many and unique stores that have grown to be well known by only a local market or a mass media market.
1. Cookie Dough Cafe
Website: http://www.thecookiedoughcafe.com/
Established originally by sisters Joan Pacetti and Julia Schmid. Inspired by a story of eating raw, delicious Cookie Dough with their mom, this company rose to fame on the TV show, "Shark Tank." They walked away with a deal from Lori Grenier with her getting 30 percent of the company for $100,000. Now in high demand, these pint-size bundles of joy can be bought for at least $80 and are currently expanding wholesale.
2. Budsies
Website: http://www.budsies.com/

Since its start, over 13,000 Budsies have been created for happy customers across 63 countries around the world, including the U.S., France, India and Australia.
3. The Giving Keys
Website: http://www.thegivingkeys.com/
The Giving Keys started with actor/songwriter Caitlin Crosby using old refurbished keys, and making jewelry out of them with small engravings. As time went on, she made a business out of it. However, Caitlin and her Husband met a homeless man on the street with a sign that said "Ugly, Broke, and Hungry." They invited him to dinner and Caitlin had the idea of helping out the homeless community by giving them jobs to further grow The Giving Keys. It eventually worked into the model of you wearing what you need more of and when you feel like you have enough of said word, then you pass it off to someone who needs it more.
4. The Bagel Store
Website: http://www.thebagelstoreonline.com/
This store based out of Brooklyn, New York makes fresh, handmade Bagels every morning. This store has recently gotten into the spotlight, by further knowledge of their signature Rainbow Bagel with Funfetti Cream Cheese Frosting. Yum! They sell bagels ranging from their Buttery Salted Pretzel Bagel to their new innovative Cragels (Croissant Bagels)! They have also included a section on their website dedicated to Bagel Art, and the many unique artistic patterns of many Bagels that they can offer.
5. The Snuggle Buddies
Website: http://thesnugglebuddies.com/
This is a company where you can pay for a Professional Cuddler to go and cuddle you. This company and many others have inspired many other braches of Professional Cuddling Organizations such as Cuddle up to Me, and even a Cuddle Con held in Portland, OR. The next answer to your question is, yes they are hiring.
6. Cream
Website: http://creamnation.com/
In 2010, Jimmy and Gus led the Shamieh family in opening the first CREAM location in Berkeley, California. It was a throwback to their childhood, when it became a “thing” for them to sandwich rich ice cream between mom’s fresh-baked cookies making one-of-a-kind cookie ice cream sandwiches. They wanted to share these secret creations with the entirety of humanity (or at least Berkeley). Cream makes fresh baked cookies everyday, and scoops a heaping amount of cold, delicious Ice Cream onto the cookies and squishes them together, making the perfect, homemade Ice Cream Sandwich. Now franchising, Cream currently has 28 stores spreading across California, Nevada, and Florida, which makes them a top contender in the ice cream sandwich business, and personally one of my favorite ice cream sandwiches.
7. I Want to Draw A Cat For You
Website: http://iwanttodrawacatforyou.com/
A man had an idea to draw cartoon cat sketches for people who wanted them and ordered them. Eventually through the use of many Internet sites like Tumblr and Reddit, his company became viral. The creator, Steve Gadlin, had the opportunity to appear on "Shark Tank," and through his marketing and pitching strategies, he was able to secure a deal with Mark Cuban and has successfully grown his business astronomically to almost a total of 20,000 hand drawn cat sketches.
