People who truly know me know that I am Disney obsessed. I am not just into the movies, songs, and shows. I am just as crazy about going to Walt Disney World and I have done so every other year or so since I was like 11. My parents keep telling me they are done going on family vacations there but every year that I mention it they never tell me no. So this year is the year that I will get to go again, and let me tell you I am counting down the days. So while I am counting the days down and planning how my best friend and I will spend every waking moment while in Orlando, it dawned on me that I really do have a quite specific list of favorite things to do while I am soaking up all the magic.

1. Riding all of the mountains in Magic Kingdom. Whether it be hitting them all up one right after another or starting with Space Mountain and working my way around I am always up for doing this as soon as I arrive in Magic Kingdom.

2. Getting a Dole Whip in Magic Kingdom.

3. Fireworks in Magic Kingdom! These are always always always a must!!!

4. Always getting to ride It's a Small World. This has become one of my favorite rides over the years even though the song is forever in my head afterwards.

5. Expedition Everest for me ranks right up there with the mountains in Magic Kingdom. It will always be the ride that I will run to after getting my picture in front of the Tree of Life.

6. Getting a picture in front of all of the major landmarks in the park. So yes I am one of those people who before riding any rides or doing anything I have to have my picture in front of Cinderella's Castle, the Epcot Ball, The Tree of Life and Mickey's Sorcerer's Hat. No matter my age or the crowdedness of the park I will forever get and treasure these pictures.

7. The Safari in Animal Kingdom, for any animal lover this is a ride that never gets old. It is great to venture out to see the great wonders of the more exotic animals.

8. Riding Soarin' at Epcot, this ride has to rank up as one of my favorite rides of all time at Disney World. Some people say that it has a tendency to make them sick but I absolutely love it and the time I get to imagine that I am actually hang-gilding around the world.

9. Eating anything in the shape of Mickey. I always have to get the ice cream bars and the ice cream sandwich and even Mickey waffles. There is nothing better than eating any food in the shape of my favorite mouse!

10. Another great ride to hit up is the Twlight Zone Tower of Terror. This ride is awesome! At first I was terrified because I have fear of drop rides but after riding it the first time I realized its not a normal drop ride. It is just something one would have to experience to completely udnerstand.

11. Rock 'n Roller Coaster is another one of my all time favorites. It feels like it doesn't last very long but it is so worth the ride!

12. Fantasmic at Disney's Hollywood Studios is another show that I am crazy about. It definitely ranks right up there with the fireworks in Magic Kingdom for me and is something that everyone should experience at least once!

I hope when you guys read this it helps to make your day just a little bit more magical.

girl with a hat

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

We've all been there. From move-in day to the first finals week in college, your first term is an adventure from start to finish. In honor of college decisions coming out recently, I want to recap some of the most common experiences college freshmen experience.

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!

Recently I completed my freshman year of college, and boy, what an experience. It was a completely new learning environment and I can't believe how much I learned. In an effort to save time, here are the ten biggest lessons I learned from my first year of college.

1. Everyone is in the same boat

For me, the scariest part of starting school was that I was alone, that I wouldn't be able to make any friends and that I would stick out. Despite being told time and time again that everyone had these same feelings, it didn't really click until the first day when I saw all the other freshman looking as uneasy and uncomfortable as me. Therefore, I cannot stress this enough, everyone is feeling as nervous as you.
