"Avatar the Last Airbender" is a wonderful cartoon that most 90's and 2000's kids grew up watching on Nickelodeon every Wednesday night. It was one of my personal favorites, and still is to this day. I even bought the whole series for my dad for Father's Day. "Avatar the Last Airbender" is a show that is adored by all ages and for good reason too. With there being some deep psychological undertones, the show also has charming characters such as Sokka. I think these memes will speak for themselves to the hilarity and wit of Sokka. Without further ado, I present you with the top 11 Sokka Memes.

11. "I'm just a guy... with a boomerang... I didn't ask for the flying... and magic..."

10. Sokka's bravery

This one is a little deeper. Even with all of Sokka's wit, he managed to teach us a lot about bravery as well. Sokka was always the first to the fight, and this moment was very heart breaking.

9. Never trust the Fire Nation, not even their birds!

8. Sokka was always making a plan and calling for action, adding his own heroic flair anytime he could.

7. Poor Sokka, but him and Suki were meant to be together!

6. That moment when you think, "wow, when did Sokka get sophisticated?" And then: BAM! Back to Sokka.

5. We get you Sokka, you're a simple guy.

4. One of my favorite episodes! Sokka was stuck with the Hippies while Katara and Aang were sharing their first kiss.

3. I need to get me some of whatever he was having.

2) "You're awfully cute, but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat."

1. Last but certainly not least:

Well, I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed putting it together. It took me down memory lane, now I need to go watch some Avatar the Last Airbender. Who is with me?

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.
