Troy University

Troy University is a small school that is located an hour away from the nearest Target, but it makes up for that with its breathtaking architecture and landscaping. While there's not always a lot to do in Troy, you can't deny that it truly is a beautiful place to learn.

11. Trojan Arena

I'm just saying... our sporting arena is actually pretty stunning.

10. Veteran's Memorial Stadium

While most people probably wouldn't think a football stadium would make the list, those people definitely haven't experienced a Troy football game at sunset.

9. SAGA

What SAGA lacks in taste, it makes up for in design. While I'm definitely not a fan of SAGA food, I have to admit, this building is pretty beautiful.

8. SAGA Patio

While this is technically still SAGA, the patio and balcony area is definitely on a whole different level from the interior.

7. John Maloy Long Hall

While this building is gorgeous on the outside, the real beauty lies within. Seriously... if you've ever walked through Long, you know that it's probably the prettiest building on campus. As an added bonus, it's filled with beautiful music, since it's the music and dance building. Whenever I walk through Long, I feel like I'm in Fame.

6. The Bookstore Patio

Whoever designed Barnes and Noble at Troy University did it right... I'm serious, this patio is a much more aesthetically pleasing place to study than the library (which is definitely not on this list).

5. Sorrell Chapel

This hidden gem is tucked away from the rest of the campus behind Janice Hawkins Park. It's super beautiful with its stain glass windows and romantic architecture.

4. New Hall

If you live in New Hall, I'm jealous. Honestly, with rooms overlooking Janice Hawkins Park, you have it made. It's also just a stunning building.

3. The New Hall Archway

I know I already have New Hall on the list, but standing in the archway is a completely different experience. Doesn't it just look magical?

2. Janice Hawkins Park

If you want to spend a little time in nature without actually roughing it and pitching a tent, eno-ing at Janice Hawkins Park is the way to go. It's so pretty. Just look at this picture.

1. The Quad

If you're a Troy University student, you can't tell me that you don't fight the urge to put the quad on your Snapchat story every single day. I'm going into my senior year and I still am amazed by how absolutely stunningly beautiful the quad is. With a view like this every single morning, I feel (almost) energized enough for an 8 AM.

If these pictures weren't proof enough that Troy University is ridiculously gorgeous, I suggest you head on over here and check it out for yourself.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Disney Princesses

The dynamics of any friend group are usually determined by the personalities which make it up. Chances are, while personalities may overlap, each person in your friend group holds his or her own place. It is the differences which bring the groups together and keep them functioning. No matter how functionally dysfunctional your friend group may be, if you're anything like me, you feel absolutely blessed to have found such a wonderful group of humans to call "your people." Here is what your friend group might look like if they were Disney princesses (and that wasn't just a thing you all pretended in your heads):
