Top 10 Youtube Mixtapes

Y'all know just how obsessed I am with music. My previous articles definitely speak for themselves. However, they've always just been about singular songs. Now I want to share with you guys a compilation of my top ten all-time favorite mixtapes, each about an hour long. Each mixtape fits a certain kind of mood, so hopefully I'll have a mixtape that will suit every situation. So plug those headphones in or turn up those speakers, sit back, and enjoy.

1. La Belle Mixtape--Kaleidoscope of Mind

This mixtape is perfect for those days where you need to crank out that homework. It's relaxing and upbeat, so it gets you going while still keeping you calm.

2. Chill Nation--Only You

For those nights when you can't get that special someone out of your mind. Or maybe you just like listening to future bass which is completely understandable. After all it takes trap to a whole other level.

3. Proximity + Galantis--Gold Dust Mixtape

You know those nights that you just want to turn up the music and just dance in your room like nobody's watching? Well Proximity and Galantis definitely deliver that with this mixtape.

4. Mr. SuicideSheep--Taking You Higher Pt. 3 (Progressive House Mix)

This is part three of a series of mixtapes made by Mr. SuicideSheep, and honestly, it's the best one. This is the perfect soundtrack for those days and nights where you feel reflective and introspective, the nights where all you want to do is sit back and just feel.

5. La Belle Musique + Filous--Colour My Heart

Think back to those magical summers filled with wonder, laughter, beauty, and awe with this epic mix. When listening to it, you can't help but think back to all those moments where you felt so happy and of course there's a slight tinge of nostalgia, but hey, that just shows just how much these moments meant to you.

6.Funky Panda + Swing Whale--Best of Electro Swing March 2015

If you haven't heard of electro swing yet, I gotta ask, what are you doing? It's quite possibly one of the most fun genres out there, and this mix does a great job of introducing you to it. Be transported to the days of swing with a modern twist that'll keep you coming back for more. This one is definitely for those moments when you feel incredibly happy and just wanna dance it out.

7. Trap City + Far East Movement--Trap City Mix 2015-2016

All I gotta say here is: rage.

8. MorIndie--"Quiet Nights"

For those rainy days and nights where you want that cup of warm tea/coffee/hot chocolate, that blanket, and that window bench to stare out of.

9. Koala Kontrol--Wander

Personally, I think this is one of the best mixes to roadtrip to.

10. The Best of The Sound You Need

For when you need to feel inspired. TSYN never fails to deliver.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
