Top 10 Winter Travel Destinations

If you're looking for a ray of sunshine, to escape a week or 2 of the winter snow, here are 10 destinations that have average highs of 70 degrees Fahrenheit to 85 degrees Fahrenheit. I picked this range of temperature because I dont like too hot, so 85 is an OK number. And average lows of about 60 at night, which is amazing.

1. Nicaragua

2. Coast of Brazil

3. Australian Gold Coast

4. Belize -- WARNING -- This shows up on every "Top 10" website, however, I did my own research and there are many accounts where European or American tourists and travelers have been murdered, stabbed or shot. I'm typically not a paranoid person, however, I personally would stay away from Belize until those stories are long in the past, as beautiful as this country is.

5. Thailand

6, South Africa - Lots of vaccinations needed!

7. Morocco - Casablanca and Marrakesh are beautiful! Only thing to worry about is drinking water, and the way you dress. This is a majority Islamic country, however very secular. You can dress however you like, but don't dress like you are about to go twerk it all over town, if you know what I mean. It would be cool to respect their culture, and dress in a more laid-back style. I'd go for loose fun pants, with a flowing top (white or beige) is a nice color, and sandals. You can wear bathing suits and go on the beautiful beaches. For being an Islamic country, they serve alcohol and have nightclubs, so if you're looking for a beautiful country to gain historical knowledge, learn about a unique culture, and ride a camel, I'd recommend Morocco! I'd also carry a shall/thin scarf just in case you decide you want to tour any cool mosques!

8. Mexico

9. Palm Springs, California

10. Dominican Republic

Friendship. It's defined as the state of being attached to another person by feelings of affection or personal regard, but what really is friendship? Is it that occasional hallway talk with that one person who always manages to cheer you up? Is it that relationship you have with someone where they can be gone for a long period of time, but when they come back, it's like they never left? Is it spending every waking hour with someone, and knowing every detail about their life? Is it the relationship that's filled with fighting, but filled with even more resolution? I've learned that it's all of these things, and every friendship is different. It's a beautifully dysfunctional mess that should always be cherished and never be taken for granted.
